We did some similar things today.  I ran the sweeper everywhere but not in my bedroom & bathroom & closet.  Tomorrow!  Changed Don's bed and had the sheets washed and put away.  Even washed two blankets from the sofas where Randy lays.  I've got enough that when they get washed, I always have two fresh ones to put down.  He loves his blankets.

I fertilized the rose bush, pulled all of the spent cactus flowers off...front and back yard, and made a roof for the house I'm working on.  I won't put it on and finish it until I am sure I've done everything I can to mess it up!  LOL 

Let me know how it goes with the tortoise needing a home.  I hope all goes well with the transfer since she cannot tend to it any longer.

Hi, Janet!  Oh, that large spider would have scared the bejeebers out of me!  Usually we don't see them very large indoors, but a few years back I did see one get very near my feet while sitting here watching tv.  You were nice to shoo him out the door.  If he's afraid of the dark, you might find him begging to get back in tomorrow morning.  :) 

I'm glad Chris is working.  He actually was able to see what I wrote to him on "messenger", and it usually doesn't work.  He likes it more than working for Amazon.  I just want him to be ok....you know.  I want to go back to the day when he was interested in Dr. Who and I'd take him to "meetings" with other fans...and they would come to our house for their meetings.  It was a good time.  Usually I don't ever go to his fb page...or Suzi's (she doesn't post anything).  But I wanted to thank him for the gift.  I feel better knowing that he's working towards getting better.

P.S.  Not an egg, but a Chaffinch in the nest.  Now I have to find out what I need to do to get the egg.  How soon I forget!  LOLOL

Need one more Chaffinch to visit and I'll have an egg in the nest.  It would be nice before I change things out.  Have no idea what to do next.

Hi, Janet!  How are you today?  We went to Chipotle for lunch and then to Home Depot and Walmart!  Yay, got my L'Oreal Conditioner for fine hair which adds volume.  :)  The old tube lasted me for years, as I only use a tiny bit.  Now that the humidity is going down, I've got lots of static electricity in my hair.  The conditioner really helps. 

You should have seen all the workers on the street behind us today.  Woohoo!  They were repairing the "repair" they made in front of Rowdy's house and the one across the street from him.  It took lots of digging, fill dirt, and rolling of asphalt.  We were gone for some of it.  Can't imagine what Randy heard. 

I've got to change Don's bed and do lots of things I'd like to do when he's gone.  ;)  At least the pork chops are leftover from yesterday and don't have to worry about dinner.

Don put the new filter in the refrigerator already.  :)  He's pretty handy for that.  It always scares me when the water squirts out forcefully when you drain the initial first water out.  He said it nearly got him in the face this time.  Ack!
