Crab and a crane tyvm x

I did get a new hairdryer and mascara.  Don picked out his brush and off we went to get dog food, pretzels and chocolate covered donuts for our afternoon snack.  :)  There is a nice guy who helps with the "locked up stuff", and he happened to ask me if I needed anything.  Being near the razor blades, got some of those and then Maybelline mascara.  He said I was the fastest person he's worked with and thanked me.  Ha ha!  Me?  Luckily, the hairbrushes were not locked up this time.  We were in and out in no time flat. 

It's nearly bedtime here, so I'd better get on with cleaning the doggie bowls, etc.  I'm thankful Kath took in your package!  :)  See you tomorrow!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Sounds as though you had a nice day.  At least Alan showed up.  It's a shame that more women don't like to earn money doing gardening/yard work.  I think they are much more concerned with how the finished yard appears.  Was it Louise you used to have?  I think that was her name.  I know she retired from that sort of work. 

I actually went out to clip a few branches off of the Palo Verde tree.  Can you believe it?  Trimming already.  LOL  I try to keep the really low branches from sprouting, but they have really branched out.  One thing led to the other and the next thing you know, I'm pruning two of the Lantana plants.  Figured since the weather was cooler, it was an opportune time.  Love working outdoors.  Earlier today I was curious to see if the spent blossoms of the barrel cactus were ready to pop out.  I pulled on one and was amazed that they had this fluffy "skirt" on the bottom of the blossom.  So cool!  I took a picture of them.  Might post or I'll send it to you.
