Forgot to mention Christopher was having surgery on his toe this morning to finally get the joint fused.  He said he probably got it when working at Amazon.  Hopefully all went well.  Haven't heard from him yet.

Have fun tomorrow if you go to the church hall.  Better go check on my laundry to see if it's dry or needs 20 more minutes.  Certain loads just don't want to dry with cotton towels.  :(  Take care!  xxx

Hi, Janet!  Good to know you had a nice time with Hilda and Judith!  Always fun to meet up with friends and have a meal out.  We did go to Las Vegas.  Don got a hair cut at Great Clips.  They don't take appointments, but you can call and get put on a list.  I went in with him and watched two gals work on men's hair.  One fellow came in and he didn't need a haircut.  I've no idea what they would have cut off, but he must have wanted it shaved off.  ???  We then went to Firehouse Subs and then to the Silverton.  Yes, we won...then we played it back.  Oh, well, I did get a t-shirt out of the trip!  LOL 

We had tuna sandwiches with cheddar cheese melted in the air fryer for dinner...along with slied apples and some potato chips.  He wanted to get some chicken/broccoli at the Chinese place in town, but this was just as good. 

The drive home was fine, but people still do the weirdest things in Vegas.  Driving isn't one of their finest moments.  There was a three car accident in Pahrump a few days ago.  Police were after a speeding car on 160.  She lost control of the car, hit the median and two other cars were wrecked.  They had her do a test for alcohol, then took her to Desert View Hospital to have her checked out.  She was released and they booked her into Jail.  You can see her at the jail looking very groggy all of a sudden....and later they found her dead in the cell.  I'm not sure what they will find but she told them she had taken fentanyl and methamphetamine.  Maybe hid it in her body somehow or swallowed something.  Sad it had to come to that.
