How are you feeling today?  Much better, I hope.  I was reading about fire hydrants in the book of unusual knowledge.  London had a system in 1600's where a network of hollowed out tree trunks were used under the cobblestone streets.  They would dig down into the streets and tap into the tree trunks for water when fighting a blaze.  Then plug the hole...which is the origin of the term "fireplug".  :)  They would mark the spot for the next time a fire broke out.  :)  I love reading that book.  Sandy bought it for Don's birthday in August!  :) 

Take care & if you see a reindeer or Rudolph, let me know.  I need to finish my poor snowman.  Just kidding.  I'm sure some will pop up eventually, when least expected.  I only need one...but they are scarce as hen's teeth!  :)  lol!  xx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Field Mouse and Forest Ruby seed.  :)  What are you up to today?  You're probably off delivering packages?  Used to love gift wrapping.  One year my boss asked if I'd come in on a Saturday to wrap gifts for the clients.  It was fun & helped my Christmas bonus!  :) 

Not much excitement going on around here lately.  Randy wants some rice and chicken, which I'll probably make any time now.  Water and rice cooking now.  :)  No pool workers have been at Rowdy's all week.  I guess they are waiting on "something"??? 

I walked on the treadmill last evening for 1/2 hour.  Didn't seem to bother me, but did wake up with an achy back this morning.  That lidocaine patch seems to work really well now that I've put it in the right place for the pain.  I'll have to order more of them since they work so well.
