Hi, Janet!  I'm eating a piece of chocolate fudge cake (a product of Canada it says), bought 2 days ago at Smith's here in Pahrump, Nevada.  Long trip for a cake, eh?  It's really good, but if this was debated on the bake show, they would probably say it was too sweet (too much icing).  LOLOL  The decaf coffee goes nicely with it, though.  ;)

Just read where our neighbor, Jon Haskins, from Delaware, Ohio, has passed away.  He's been so sick for a while...and only in his 50's I would think.  Last I heard he had Sepsis and was not doing well.  We kept seeing pictures of him from time to time and he went from a robust looking guy to very thin and sickly.  It was pretty sad to see.  Laura, his wife, and their two daughters were there with him.  :(

We did get our KFC Pot Pies for lunch and then Don scrambled to Smith's to get a few things we needed.  Once home I got myself ready to weed and started in the side yard between Nick's house and ours.  I did a good job and cleaned out a "wash" that had some leaves gathered in the bigger rocks.  Nick has chopped his ornamental grass kind of round like I do mine but he left all the grassy stuff just lying on the ground & rocks.  :(  He should have his handyman come out and do that for him, as he has had back surgery about 5 or 6 months ago.  Of course, maybe he didn't do it but it looks like his handywork.  ;)  You gotta love him!
