Oh, the caller was Bob (of Bob and Mary). I mentioned to Don I'd seen Mary and Bob walking a dog last evening when closing the blinds. He seemed to be walking better. Well....a couple of weeks ago he fell at Saddle West after he and Mary had eaten in the restaurant there. He hit his head pretty good and his titanium knee bent backwards. They wanted to call a squad but Bob didn't want that. He did take himself over to Desert View Hospital and was there for 5 hours while they checked him out. He said when he fell some scar tissue must have released from the knee area and now he can walk a lot better. That's great news. I thought I saw him on a bike, too, the other morning. He and another neighbor used to go bike riding in the mornings. Maybe he and Don will go metal detecting again some day. You never know! :)
