Sandy will go in on Wednesday, and they will do an exploratory surgery.  She had to talk two different doctors this morning.  I'm hoping they will discover where the bleeding is coming from and that will be that. 

This afternoon this crazy idea popped into my head to go cut some cactus pads off the larger cactus on the right side of the yard.  Well, the barrel cactus and prickly pear cactus are getting so large it's hard to get back into that area.  I had to twist some pads off, carefully step over the barrel cactus with the nasty stickers, and start chopping away.  I did get a lot off but you can't tell.  Then I pruned the palm that is in the corner.  It looks a lot better.  OMG...I was covered in stickers from the pricklies and whatever that big cactus is called.  When I came in I took an oatmeal bath (packets of oatmeal for bathing), and shaved certain areas on my arms to maybe get the stickers off.  I'm better but am sure I'll need a new pair of gloves or my hands will be always feeling stickers.  Nasty things.  I'm sorry I ever planted them since I'm too old to care for the tall ones.  Don said he'll take the ladder out and help next time I prune them.
