Nick has been gone for days.  He didn't ask us to get his mail, so maybe he's having them "hold" it until he returns.  You have to wonder about him because he could be anywhere or in trouble and no one around here is friendly enough with him to worry.  Don does have his phone #, but doesn't want to ask if all is ok.  Maybe he will eventually.  Obviously he's not expecting a home delivery or we would have been asked to get the package.

I looked at jigsaws at Walmart on the end of an aisle, but a family was in the aisle with most of them...and I really have some things that need done here so I'll wait for a little while.  I'll get the urge once it gets too hot to do anything else.  ;) 

I could take a nap right now, but never nap during the day unless I'm sick.  Never was a napper. 

Don thinks he might be feeling good enough tomorrow to go back to the gym.  He says he can still tell where he wasn't feeling so good for a few days, but it's much better.  Hope he doesn't have a hernia or something like that.  Haven't mentioned that to him.  He thinks he's a super hero at the gym.  Well...take care and have a nice rest of your day.  Hugs!  xx

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Kangaroo!  Wanted to write this morning, but had a few things to do & get ready for the day.  The temperature is a balmy 98 degrees F!  It's hot!  We don't have the air conditioner on yet.  Ceiling fan above me keeping me cool.  Broke down last evening and turned it on earlier than usual.  We had only turned it on upon going to bed and then Don would turn it off the first time he got up at night.  We're hoping our electric bill won't be too bad this month. 

The tree out front is starting to get lots of green sprigs on it, so won't have to cut it down after all.  Won't be long until we will be wanting to cut some low hanging branches off.  You wait and see!  Ha ha!

We did go to Walmart today to look for pine bark mulch...  None to be found. Will have to look at Star Nursery.  Walmart had nothing.  Probably because it catches fire too easily in the dry weather. 

Tweeny watered the Pink Cap Mushroom, and spotted a Yellow Wagtail feeding on the Bird Mix!
