Are you allowed to hand water plants that take very little water?  Here we can hand water at any time, tub the watering system can only be used before 7 a.m., and after 7 p.m., on Mon./Wed./Fri. even # households in Pahrump.  I can't see that many people would hand water plants during the "do not water" hours.  I only hand water the cactus plants (once a week) out front, and back yard once a week in the evenings.  You don't want it to all go away in the heat!

Hi, Janet!  Thanks for the Mole!  He was sticking his nose up, not minding his own business.  I'll take good care of him.  ;)  What are you up to today?  All I know here is we might go to Burger King for lunch.  We do need things at the store AND I'm taking back the hair dryer purchased from Walmart.  It is a conair and I've had that brand before but this one has an attachment that doesn't fit into the hairdryer.  And, of course, it's the one I want to use.  Plus there are only two speed settings...high and low.  High seems low and low seems nearly nonexistent.  I'll choose more wisely this time. 

105 today, then the temps go down to 102 and 100 for a while.  Yes, still hot.  No rain in sight.  Some sort of fire nearly every day. 

Had a bad night with my crampy legs.  Theraworx on both legs.  So today I have my compression socks on and will wear them all day.   I'd like to get some compression socks that allow your feet to be in sandals or flip-flops.  Will probably have to order them online, as they're hard to find in stores.
