Hi, Janet! Silly morning and I didn't even get to Fairyland until a minute or so ago. Read your note, too. It's another hot one here...97 at 2:15 p..m. Looked like rain for a while but now cleared up. Might rain around 4 o'clock tomorrow. Not sure how they know that. LOL We sure could use some rain. Enough to really get things wet, not a drop or two. Would help with all the fires around here.
I might get a bucket and see if I can clean what is reachable in the laundry room. Now that Don put the new metal tube on, less dust gets blown around. Didn't help the clothes drying, though. The washer doesn't spin enough water out of the towels. Always putting the clothes on low for another 15 or 20 minutes. Frustrating.
Speaking of weeds. For some reason, today Nick thought it a good day to burn weeds. There he is with his burner and nothing to sit on while doing that and it's 95 degrees out. What is he thinking? I still see the weeds, so he didn't get very far. I'm wondering if the HOA has said something to him. A few months ago when we were weeding, he was proudly telling us how he was going to eliminate his weeds. Well....he's just now getting around to it. It's way too hot for him to be doing that. :(
