Hi, Janet!  Poor Randy got out of bed at 4 a.m.  He just lays on the floor, so I didn't have to get up until 5:30.  Made him chicken and rice and it was gobbled down.  He's sleeping now in Don's spot on the sofa.  Don got displaced, so he's sitting on the other end of my sofa.  He has me worried (Randy).  I brushed/combed him on one side yesterday.  Randy loves it once you get started.  He sheds SO MUCH.  We will pay a lot of attention to him today.  Don helped him onto the bed last night.  :( 

Are you at the church hall today?  I suppose the weather is still hot and humid?  We have a good breeze going today.  People have to be so careful when it's this hot, dry, and windy.  Someone lost their manufactured home a couple of days ago to fire.  Everything, gone, but they and the pets escaped.  Scary stuff.

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.
