Lots of fireworks tonight.  When finished with my bath I walked out to a "grand finale" like round of them and scared me.  I thought there was something wrong in the house.  Usually those are saved for the end.  Not tonight!

Don mentioned that the doctor has our bloodwork results already and we could see them online but you have to download a driver's license....no thanks.  I can wait.  Probably wouldn't understand it anyway, just like my bone density test.  He'll let us know Tuesday.  :)

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the current quest.  I'd like to try to lure some yellow chaffinch chicks to my garden eventually.  Not liking this month's easy pot, so will skip May.  Might just try to get two chicks in the garden.  Of course, I need two.  Ugh!

We had a good day.  I worked on the little house for a while.  Groceries were bought.  Took some prickly pear pads off of the areas close to the house.  The bag was pretty heavy by the time I pulled off the spent flowers, too.

I did have time to apply another coat of paint on the little house for the 4th of July.  It's not looking very patriotic at the moment.  Eventually it might.  My hands are SO DRY from working on that plus the amount of grease release products they put in the dish detergent these days.  I use rubber gloves a lot but when rinsing out the washrags, you still get the product on your hands.  Ugh!

How's Daryn these days?  Is he still spreading topsoil in the backyard.  It will be interesting to see what happens over there.  :)  Take care & I'll be back later.  ss
