Just got your message glad James is not in as much pain. Got some beautiful gifts I love them all . Hydrangeas I have two mine is in leaf again now , don’t do much with them really just cut the dead heads of in the spring and give it a bit of a prune I’ve a pink one and a blue one one at the back is blue . I usually just cut back to a bud when I’m  pruning there can be several on one stalk depends how high you want it to grow mine have been in years they are well established , I do sometimes have to trim it back if it starts to grow  across the drive as it scratches the car so I have a hack at it . Cut any dead wood out too .love apricots my favourite fruit . Night night xx
