Panda sPURRinkles ♥`*•.¸♥`*•.¸Your mom was very lovely Michelle - such fabulous skin! Indeed - dementia is a hard thing to witness. It was hard to see my dad's vibrant personality stifled and his memories stolen, although he knew us, although I don't think he could remember why or who we were. What I've mostly learned beyond that is that no journey with illness really prepares you for the next - having parents, step parents, and in-laws - nothing that happened with one was any help for the next. On the bright side, my step mom is almost 98, living at home, with a mind as sharp as a tack! She stays fairly active and interested in life, which is so nice to see! Sounds like the weather in the east is horrific - hope it passes soon! Sounds like a wonderful dinner and a wonderful reason to stay home!
