Lol, a book club would be my worst nightmare. Having to read a book that somebody else had chosen, within a certain time period, and then discussing it. I read a lot, but ones I’ve chosen and no time pressure. However, until recently I have been going to a weekly exercise class, and a Crewe Clean Team litter picker. Have had to give both up recently, I’m having falls, and use a walker now. I can still do my 2nd voluntary job as a telephone befriender for a charity organisation. And go to a group on a Monday, 2 hours. Chat, games, lunch etc. under the consultant at the hospital for the falls….
