Hi Annie, thank you for asking, I was still a little bit headachey this morning but I'm absolutely fine now. I hope all is well with your clan and everyone had a good night? It's been a really mixed day here, one minute bright sunshine and the next, heavy, dark clouds and rain. But sun or rain, the wind has been howling! I had to hunt out a box today to send Mavis her Easter Eggs. Luke and I always bought one for her and Mick, Luke wanted to buy his own this year so she has two. We'll get scolded but she'll love being spoilt really 😉 I used to work for The Woolwich and got a job for my brother's then girlfriend there too, Kelly was also an Arsenal supporter. We were offered two VIP tickets to see Arsenal vs Crystal Palace and the seats came with a pre-match talk by Charlie George,

a three course dinner, the game and then a chance to meet the players! We met Lee Dixon and Patrick Vieira and, OMG, we were pathetic. Pa. Thet. Ic! We totally lost the ability to speak and were shown up by this 10 year old kid who was chatting away about the game and the goals whilst we basically stood there dribbling 🙄😂 And it's not like I wasn't used to family's people, before The Woolwich I worked for Barclays Bank in Regent Street. I'd served and spoken to lots of stars when I was cashiering and it was never a problem *sigh* Mum and I finished Perception and the last two episodes in the current season of Death in Paradise and tomorrow I'll check whether we're up-to-date with Beyond Paradise but mum's upstairs,

Luke's had his supper and gone into the computer room so Misha is keeping me company while I watch a couple of episodes of The Walking Dead. I'm off to finish my returns and get that hat done!! Night, night, sweet dreams, love and hugs xx

the jigsaw is very slow going. I began it at Christmas and are only about half way. If I can get the camera to  focus I will try and sent a  photo in the morning  xx

Good evening Annie, did you manage to get to bed a little early? (No need to ask whether I did!!) Although I did remember the clocks were going forward, I don't physically have to do anything, my phone, laptop and tv all reset automatically... thank goodness! Mum has to reset the timer for the hot water and heating but that's it. Unfortunately I had a not so great reaction to my injection and slept in late anyway! Had the shopping delivered this morning and mum was rolling her eyes at me - I bought the dogs an Easter egg each. They're proper doggy ones and I just couldn't resist them (I bought them a doggy advent calendar at Christmas too 😂). Spoilt fur babies! I buy all my Easter Eggs as soon as the supermarkets do a deal on them, the prices have gone up so much this year, it's absolutely ridiculous!

But it's like buying a selection box at Christmas, it's one of my earliest memories to do with family traditions, everyone had one, every year and I can't not do it. Postal costs here are getting out of hand too so instead of Easter Eggs for my nieces, I'll be sending their mum's some money and they can choose whether to buy more chocolate or something else 😉 I must get on that before I forget actually. Horrible weather here again today, wind and rain and the central heating was back on to take off the chill before lunchtime! Oh my goodness! The pies were delicious, definitely worth every penny! You know supermarket ones are full of gravy with the odd bits of shredded meat? These were packed with cubes of meat and not a hint of gristle, really good.

The only small complaint that mum and I had was that the chicken and mushroom one was a little peppery, other than that 10/10 (only now I really wish I'd bought an apple pie too - no satisfying some people 😂😂😂). I was too much of a coward even to do two plates on the Red and Orange, I get myself too stressed over it. It's ridiculous, I *know* that there are five days to spot the critters I need before the plant is done but I'm like "gotta find them now, gotta find them now!" I keep telling myself to chill out but, so far, it's not bloody well working 😂😂 I was really lucky with the generosity of another friend today. There is only her garden and one other doing Giraffes and the other garden has been frozen for over two days.

Sheryl, bless her held off watering in my garden until I'd spotted the three I needed in mine, even though she could have been done and dusted. She said as I had seven to come, she'd wait. Now I have someone who needs a Topiary Black Unicorn garden which is my next critter so I get to help her out. Oh my gosh, way back when I was an Arsenal super fan, but I'm talking about when the likes of David Bergkamp, Emmanuelle Petit, Ian Wright, Lee Dixon, Kevin Campbell and Tony Adams were playing. Somewhere in my keepbox, I have a signed video box, yup, video, from Kevin Campbell, it's a treasured possession since I got it for Steven and they've both passed now. I managed to get some knitting done, nearly finished with the hat... nearly!!
