Hi Bev!  It's been a slow process trying to do Fairyland the last couple of days.  Our internet & phone has been going off & on & when it's on, it's so ridiculously slow!  I don't know if it's our bitter cold weather that's affecting it.  From the sounds, it's staying for a few more days.  I feel bad that it's this way for your daughter's visit.  It's probably even colder up there.  I did get out today with my sister-in-law, but Burrr!  We went to the casino for a few hours & then to lunch.  Other than it being so cold, it was a fun day! 
Sounds like you had a nice day.  What kind of dog did your friend get?  Always fun to play with a puppy!
