I was able to let Jojo out with Rylee last night for the final trip out. Rylee as usual raced to the yard gate and bashed it with his head to try and get out. Jojo seeing this went to the gate - looked out - turn to Rylee as if to say - "What" There was nothing out there - she truly looked disgusted. She walked past him to do her business. Rylee took another look then went about his business as well. Rylee didn't wake me to go in the night. So note to self - make Jojo go out with Rylee at night - I won't have to let him out through the night. Happy Wednesday.

In my house I use a clear glass with a piece of cardboard to cover the bottom. I trap the wasp or bee then release it from the nearest door. Most insects fly towards the light. Flies I leave. They have very short lives and will soon die anyway.

This is the time of year that the flying things are getting into the house. I am repeatedly opening windows and doors to let them out. Jojo helps - she snags them out of the air and dispatches them to their next life. I watched as she ran into the room with something - when she dropped it on the floor I saw it was a wasp. She tossed it and chomped on it and played with it - she's quite ruthless. Rylee came out to see what she had - when he realized it was a buzzy he booked it out of the room into his crate in the front room - the farthest safest place he could find. Jojo finished off the wasp - I tossed it into the trash and coaxed Rylee out of his safe place. The sounds of Spring . Happy Tuesday.
