Jojo loves the spring and summer months because of the buzzies. She is a fly chaser. Not necessarily a fly catcher - mostly she chases them - bees too. I try to keep an eye on her when she's chasing bees - she seems to like the big fuzzy black and yellow ones - and I don't want her to get stung. It's not unusual to have her jump up in the middle of dinner and chase out of the room - she hears a buzzing - she's on the job! Have a great weekend - Happy Friday.

You are aware that I have been training Rylee - asking him to behave at the door and not be reactive in public. Well most of the training has worked out. I was able to walk Rylee into a crowded tent with people and their dogs. He walked in beside me and - looked but didn't lunge or bark. The only time he did bark was in the hotel - we were walking down the hallway to go outside - a couple of Belgian Shepherds came in the hall at the door. Now they barked first - Rylee barked back. They pulled back and we went out. He has been worse - he's been better - but all in all he was okay.  Happy Thursday.

There were "handicap" buttons on the doors where we stayed. I thought it would distract Rylee if I taught him to do something while we walked to the outside door. I worked at getting him to "touch" the button to open the door. I found he could do this 9 times out of ten. The tenth time helpful people would open the doors for us. Rylee learned two things - he learned that yes he could make the doors open. He also learned that if he waited - someone would open the door for him. Happy Wednesday.   

Jojo was not really sure what was going on with our accommodations over the weekend. We stayed at the Mohawk College residence. It was clean basically quiet two bedroom suite and an easy drive to the show site. As we settled down for the night Jojo began to bark - randomly. When she barked - Rylee would bark - and it would begin. I got Rylee settled - hubby finally got Jojo settled and shut his door so she couldn't bark at that hallway door. Through the night I would hear her randomly bark about - something. My Smart Watch told me in the morning I had gotten maybe 3 hours sleep - my tired face confirmed the same. I got up at 6am to let them both outside and let hubby sleep in for another hour. Happy Tuesday.     

Well we made it through the weekend unscathed. Rylee won Best Altered in Show yesterday! This is his third BIS win - we are so proud of him. Although this is the third win for him I have not seen him in the ring - Rylee will not listen to Chuck if I am near. We tried it on Friday and well Rylee was a moron and tugged away from Chuck and tried to get to me instead. This is something that he didn't always do but now he does. Sometimes you have to just go with the flow. Happy Monday!
