Ty for spotting the FFM in my garden! 🥰

As I sit here writing the tales Rylee decides that a really great place to lay is under my small desk - in front of my chair. As I type realized that my chair is not as close to the desk as I like it - so I hitch it forward - right onto him. I forgot he was there. He jumps up quite offended and I apologize. Yes I forgot to check to see if he was there. He mumbles and grumbles and goes to settles by the door - much better place to be. Life with Rylee - Happy Thursday.

Rylee is a window dog. He sits at the kitchen window on the bench I put in front of it. He sits and watches the birds which is fine. However when one of the Black Squirrels dares to enter our yard he's right there - ready and launches off of the bench barking to the door. We also have a young brown bunny that I believe lives under our deck during the summer. Jojo is the one that goes after it - and any chipmunks that roam around. Rylee is a whole other story he is the squirrel wrangler. He has realized that the upper windows in the bedrooms are great for watching the birds in the trees out back.  He sits on the floor beside me looking up and out. Windows - he loves them. We have two pet kennels in our home one for Jojo one for Rylee. I had placed Rylee's just inside the front door but found this was not a good place to have it. I put it into the livingroom. Jojo's is at the back door in the laundry room tucked in beside our freezer. This is a much better place for one to sit. I recently had to move Rylee's into the kitchen as I have decorated the house for Christmas and there is no room in the livingroom. Rylee thinks being in the kitchen will grant him access to more treats. It will not. Pet kennels are a good thing to have - they give your pet a "safe" place to go to in your home when things get overwhelming for them. Rylee will go to his - open the door and get in to lay down. Something to think about for your own fur baby as we get into the Christmas season. Happy Tuesday.

Rylee will sleep in my bed, so I check him daily for ticks or fleas. I also give him a repellent so he doesn't have any, but I still check. Each morning he jumps up I ask him "bugs or bites"  he flips to his back and I check his tummy while giving him a rub. Yesterday we were going through this routine and I spotting the little freckle on his tummy I said, "What's this?" His head whipped around to look and I laughed and said, "fooled you." He made this grumble sound that could have been anything - I'm thinking "Bitch." Happy Monday
