Rylee's new habit is taking a toll on my peace and quiet. I have a squeaky ball on the counter in the kitchen for him. When I go to make my breakfast both Rylee and Jojo race ahead of me barking with joy! "Mom's Up!" they seem to be saying until I get to the kitchen and tell them  - "no I'm not here to play!" Jojo goes to hubby to complain and Rylee - well he continues to bark until I give him the squeaky ball from the counter. It no longer squeaks - but Rylee chomps on it with obvious joy as it makes a wheezy whoosh of air. The things I do for some morning peace and quiet. Happy Thursday.

Hubby is better and our trip is scheduled to start next Monday. Rylee and Jojo are still ready to go!  Each morning I get up with them let them out, feed them and return upstairs to wait for him to get up. Jojo goes back in with hubby and she jumps up on the bed beside him. I know she will get him up within the next half hour especially if I go back down to to make my breakfast ahead of hubby. Furry alarms are the best - the do not have a snooze button! Happy Wednesday.

I noticed the other day that Rylee is an equal opportunity player. I took him out to play fetch and our DIL was there he gave her the ball. She tossed it out and he then brought it to me I threw it. He brought it back to her again. We realized what he was doing - one for me one for her. This continued until she went in then it was just my turn. How thoughtful of Rylee - taking turns letting us serve him! Happy Tuesday.

Hubby woke yesterday with that cold thing that I fought off. He did not. We have rescheduled out trip by one week. Hopefully next Sunday we can leave. meanwhile Rylee and Jojo are confused. I think they too were looking forward to the trip but here we are. So i let him sleep in and nap throughout the day and dispense the meds to help him fight off the bug. Happy Monday.
