My Mom is checking in with me each
day, as she is 89 years old and doesn't
relish the thought of lying for days
until someone discovers that she has
passed ~ I am happy to report that
although she didn't get much sleep
last night, she did wake at 11am ~
hallelujah ~ No frost this morning,
thank you ~ It looks as though we're
clear of that for the coming week ~

Pleased to hear that your Mom is well,
despite her bumps and bruises ~ Very
kind of Luke to move the heavy bags
of mulch ~ Are they to be spread out
this year, or are they for next year?
We've been blessed with sunshine
again today and are just 4 degrees
shy of our predicted high of 22 ~
The pizza was great last night, thank
you ~ Just what each of us needed ~
Hope yours is good as well, and that
the oven cooperates ~ The food banks
are getting empty over here; I'm
thinking a food drive will be needed ~
the shelves for the Women, Infants
and Children are also emptying quickly
and are dependent upon the federal
government for replenishment, which
will not happen until the government
is open again :o(
