Morning Jennifer, granddaughter got on ok, she bought 4 things. I was messaging her last night around 9 o clock but she was still on her way home. She said she’s very tired. Some schools open here, they’ve been told they can wear their PE kit, or no blazers and ties. I’ll be staying inside too today. I tried to sit outside yesterday afternoon but was sneezing so much that I ended up with a sore throat. Inside with the fan on is much better

I’ve made up my mind to do nothing today xx

Hello Jennifer, how are your pets dealing with the heat? When I had dogs and it was extremely hot I would give them a cold shower. Made a mess of the bathroom however they were relieved. Trickier with cats. I also make sure that local birds have water. I fill tubs for them to splash around in outside. Today I started reading, 'The Book Lover's Library.' by Madeline Martin. Set in Nottingham 1939. Already loving it!
