yes, I am in the thiick of the storm.  Lots of snow outside my door with another day of it coming down.  Should end at some point tomorrow.  As long as I don't loose power i'm good.  Plenty of heat and food. 

Brutal temps.  we hit all of 8 degrees today.  About the same tomorrow and Monday temps get worse.  Lows are negative numbers.  Yikes!  I need to visit my son in Alaska to warm up!

It's lovely to hear the mare had her foal and they're both OK, I hope you get to see it soon. It must be great to have the horses wandering around, the biggest thing I see these days is the squirrel. I think there may still be a fox about, not that I've seen him, but there were tracks in the snow going across my garden. I asked Lorraine if she'd seen anything of them as they would often go in her garden at night but she's not seen them either. Now I'm wondering if they were cat tracks!

I've been watching a very old episode of Maigret it was made in 1962, gosh I was 13 then, where did it all go.

The only place I use weed killer is in my front garden on the Bath stone pebbles. The 'Roundup' weedkiller I use works really well and I let the wind to blow the dead weeds away! Mind you they're only very small and I don't know how big your neighbours are. I never used weedkiller or any lawn preparations on the back grass as I was afraid they might kill Tank and now I don't bother and as long as what comes up is green I cut it and pretend it's all grass. LOLOL

I had lunch with Sheila and came home about 3 so managed to do most of the puzzle. I'll finish it tomorrow then must decide if I do the one Maggie brought or the 2nd Christmas one, I think it will be Maggie's.

The weather's been much the same even though they forecast wind and rain, it's been 45 again and sunny. I do wonder what these forecaster get paid for!!
