Tomorrow I'm meeting Ness at the hall, I've not seen her for 3 weeks so we should have lots to talk about plus I've one or two things they might like for the hall sale.

It was lovely to see Mike looking so well, he has stage 4 prostate cancer and it's in his bones but they've told him it's static at the moment. They went to see their son in New Zealand at Easter and Mike was fine. He does sailing with the disabled and is still able to do that and the only thing he has problems with is going for long walks which he did with Carole, she now goes with a club and he's happy she doesn't miss out. They're a lovely couple and Valda, her mum lives next door to them. Her memory is not good and she's very deaf but with Carole's help she's doing fine.

They'd not been gone more that 5 minutes and I was thinking of getting the puzzle out when Auntie arrived. I made tea for us but told her she was too late for the cake, not that it bothered her she's not one for fresh cream. Oh well some people you just can't please.LOLOL Bless her the allergy is back and I think she'll need to up the steroids again. She said that Richard, her eldest has phoned the doctors to see if she can continue to take them. I'm of the opinion she should just take them, at 91 what harm could they do her. I'll check up on her next week to see how it's going.

Hi Janet, the weather's been very unsettled, we've had sunshine[66] but mostly cloud and some torrential rain. I needed to go out this morning to get some cake as Mike [Bill's son], Carole and her mum Valda were coming round this afternoon. I finally went when I thought the rain had stopped but when I was in the store it poured and when I tried to get back to my car there was a lake of water outside the shop. I managed to walk along the length of the store and find a way across the car park without having to paddle through too deep water but some people had it over the top of their shoes. I suppose I should be pleased as it will mean I won't have to water the tomato plants in the morning and the brown grass will turn green. The down side is by Monday it will need cutting again. lol
