After they left it was almost 4 but I went to see auntie anyway and she was pleased to see me. We sat and watch Arthur Fery win his match at Wimbledon. Since the Brits don't often do well there it was fun to watch and auntie and my cousins are good club tennis players so they're really interested.

The book is in but I didn't have time to go to the library so will try tomorrow. I'm going out with Ness tomorrow night for a meal, its a place called The Spring Tide, I'm hoping they have air conditioning, not everywhere does. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I had a salad lunch and thought to visit auntie. I'd just got ready when Jill and John turned up. She's the lady who organises the lunches with my old work colleagues. She came to bring my birthday card. They're away next week and as I was here when she arrived they came in for a cuppa and chat. I was so glad they were here as a pigeon flew in to my conservatory and was whizzing about because it couldn't find its way out. John was lovely he shut himself in there and got it out. They keep cockatiels and he doesn't mind handling birds, bless his heart he chased it around and managed to get it out. I owe him a drink next time we're out. If I'd been here alone I would have left it in there to find its own way out which could have taken a long while.

Hi Janet, 79 with 82% humidity, I'm moving to the Arctic!  Carole came late this morning and before she arrived I got most of the puzzle sorted again. When she'd gone Gwen phoned for a chat and as I hung up Maggie phoned. She wants to come up here but is not sure as her hubby's still not adjusted to his heart medication and keeps getting dizzy. I've told her if it gets a bit cooler I'll visit her but if it's 80 here it will be 86/87 at least at where she is. Today it was 86 when she phoned. Tomorrow she has a crown green bowls match in the afternoon and the forecast is the same as today, better her than me, I'd be a little sweaty spot on the edge of the green!! I know she's not looking forward to it. I think my flushes are bad because I take thyroxin and it can be one of the side effects so it loots like I have them for life.
