I'll be at Moms for Thanksgiving.  Well really my sister that my Moms lives with now.All  us girls will be there.  Plus their husbands and one niece and family.  Plus a few others.  probably about 15.

I have to decide what dish to take.  I normally make pumpkin pie but my niece says she grew pumpkins and is making it from scratch!  I'm not competing with that!

Maybe some appetizer or side dish.  Got a favorite for anything?

I finished the Daffodil Cottage puzzle with the edge piece missing and will send a pic, then I can start on my new one. If this weather keeps up and according to the forecast it will, I'll have plenty of time tomorrow to make a start.

I love the snowy garden, so pretty.

I got some antibiotic drops for my eyes and they've felt a bit better today. I'm inclined to think I only have to take a couple of pills and I'll be better, I've no patience, but do think by tomorrow I should be feeling much better as I'll have taken the pills for 3 days and only have 2 days to go.

The front door has leaked again only this time I've found out where the water is coming from. It's getting in under the letter box. Since I don't have anything to stop it I shoved a lot of White Tack along the joint that's leaking. It's the stuff you use to attach paper/cards etc to glass. It's helped but there's so much rain it's still getting in. I'm hoping if it stops raining before I go to bed then I can take it out, dry under the box and put it back in without competing with the water coming through. I'll call Paul the door fitter on Monday, I'm sure he'll come back and sort it.

Hi Janet, we've had a Pahrump day, it's not stopped raining all day, needless to say I've not been out, not that I've felt much like it. To add to my woes I now have mouth ulcers, I guess I'm a bit under the weather, however I think the cough may be a bit better. It is milder about 45 and I did put my head out of the door and saw that Daryn and Kath's cars have gone, so I suppose they've moved back to hers.

I can see that Sue and Ian's lights are on so they must be back from their days in London. She wanted to see the Tower of London as she'd not been there before and I had to admit neither have I.  I've seen it from the outside and imagine it would take at least half a day to go round. We've had some TV programmes about it on in the last few weeks. They've had another Poppy exhibition like they had in 2014. This time they only have about 30000 poppies but I think it was all over by the 11th so it's a pity Sue and Ian didn't go a couple of weeks back, plus they would have had better weather.
