I went for my covid vaccine late this morning and so far I've had no ill effects. I was expecting the worst as both Sue and Ian had sore and swollen arms but I must be honest I couldn't tell it had been done. I will admit that's the same result I seem to get every time.

I did a little shopping and got a new battery for my watch. I know the young don't bother with watches but I really can't walk about clutching a phone to tell me the time.  D had been shifting more top soil, I spoke with him on my way out and his chest is still not good and he's thinking of seeing a doctor tomorrow. I can't blame him as he'll have trouble getting an appointment Friday as it's a bank holiday weekend and the doctors will be shut on Monday.

Good luck with your bloodwork I don't think they want mine until later in the year.

Hi Janet, I laughed when you said you watered your fake grass. One day when I came home I noticed Sue was mowing hers, yes I did say mowing it.  It was genius because it put lovely straight lines lines on it like a Wimbledon tennis court. She blew it last year when she decided to do it again only with the lines going the opposite way and ended up with little squares all over it. lol

Like you I've not travelled far beyond our shores. I did go to Austria on my honeymoon and I took myself to the isle of Jersey after my divorce. I've travelled all over the UK, Wales, Scotland and all over England. My favourite places are Cornwall and Scotland but it doesn't bother me that I don't go far these days. When we travelled in the UK we always took Digby, the dog, with us. Sometimes we rented a property and sometimes took a large camper van.
