You talked it up, today before I could get on FL I got asked if I was a robot and how many bridges could I see. I think it may be when they update their software, anyway I must have been right because here I am.

Last night we had rain and again this evening, with this heat my grass will soon be knee high, still it will give me a job tomorrow then Alan can do the edges.

I've not done much cooking and am surviving on salads, I really can't be cooking when it's hot which means I will need to go out either tomorrow or Monday for more supplies!

Daryn should be home tomorrow, well I think so, he was a bit vague and said a week, but that could mean a week in Tenerife then the journey home.

Hi Janet, it's not been quite so hot today, 77 with 80% humidity but still too sticky for me. I'm so fair that I tend to avoid the sun as I don't tan just burn. I did however spend a little time in the garden. I've been pulling up poppies. Now I know that sounds horrid but they're light purple with a single bloom. I've been waiting for a flashy double to bloom and today it did. I need to get rid of the singles then hopefully the seed won't be cross pollinated and I'll get the double blooms next year. Well that's the plan. I also pulled up some huge weeds that seem to come from the wild bird seed and I'm a bit worried what they are. I left one and hope that Alan can tell me if he comes Monday. Bill used to have an AP and if you held your phone up to the plant it would tell you what it was, I'm hoping Alan has it too.
