Hi Judy, Rats can get in anywhere there is a hole or even an open door. We had field mice a good few years ago, we were told to block all holes with wire wool . We did and captured the mice in special boxes , and released them back into the fields. I am against killing anything in nature, even flies. I use plants to deter them entering the house. Well l hope they sort the Rat problem soon. Have a good rest of the day , and hope you had a good time at the centre xx
