Glad you had a blast. Did Nessie get excited in the wind?
The heat has blown across the pond and is unpleasant and hard to breath. Fortunately I filled the feeders yesterday and they are still about half full. Tomatoes are setting fruit along with the cucumbers and hot peppers. My cannas have buds and should be blooming soon. I brought back a small piece of a red/yellow hybrid one from my friend in Texas and it has survived Ohio winters by rating house space. Not every potted plant makes the cut for inside, some get to winter over in the lightly heated garage.
Went to the quilt shop and found that I need remedial education in the program basics. I thought I remembered well enough from the classes that I have attended, but apparently I have not. There will be an intensive class in October and meanwhile I will have watch videos until I figure out the parts I am missing. Of course while at the shop I found fabric on sale and a book to purchase. Good thing I am back to work tomorrow!
