Mama kitty just walked through with a mouse in her mouth. She put it down in a corner and walked away. I told her the I hoped it was dead. Grabbed a baggy and went to go retrieve it. Thank goodness it was a realistic looking toy. The kitties have access to the outdoors on the porch and periodically a mouse or chipmunk will run past the cage and the felines inside. They have brought me real mice, voles and chipmunks over the years.
