Rylee and Jojo were enjoying the their tour of the Pet store. So many sights - so many smells and of course so many people and pets! Rylee comes with me often and he knows the staff - they know him. The manager approached and gave him a treat - Jojo accepted one as well. We tried a pair of soft boots on Jojo decided they were great so hubby took off the soft muzzle. Rylee and I wandered around the store then went to wait in the line-up for cashing out. The line winds through the store and past the display of assorted treats laying looses in boxes. Hubby of course was not watching Jojo and her inner shoplifter came out to inspect the displays. Reaching into a box she quickly grabbed her selection and proceeded to eat it. More tomorrow. I have a finch blend for the littles and regular seed for the the greedy guses. Two of the shops have a cylinder of seed that is held together and shaped into a cylinder. The nice thing is that it takes longer for the birds to go through it. So if I don’t get out to the back garden every day there is always food. I have a plug in heater for a birdbath close to the house. It keeps the water from freezing over but still forms a rim of ice in this weather. The weather app has both C and F, so I use C when posting with friends across the pond. My sister lives in London and has a flat in Ayr but still speaks both C and F.
Kittens are growing and starting to look like real cats not just kittens. Fortunately they all get along. Though the kittens are still a little greedy for breakfast wet food.
