...I just need a bit of feedback for my own peace of mind.
Recently I thought I had pin-pointed the cards I needed on middle and right plates but it seems they are wrong.
So...if a caucus race critter is spotted does it shuffle all the cards for all the critters in that section as I thought it would just change for the one that was spotted.
Or I've just not got the hang of pin-pointing the cards yet.

It changes the card you need for the main character, which also means the clues will change because they're now for the new card.

Yeah Tracey, I have that bit in my head, does it re-shuffle the other two critters though?

No, it doesn't re-shuffle the others.
Each position will attract a specific character. If the character is spotted, the requirement for the character is changed but only in this position. It is totally random BUT it is also possible that same value attracts the character again. So that's why it is good to keep the card in this position to get the answer if it is the correct one or if it is too high or too low.
