Hi Denece, you have a wonderful family and a variety to to boot. The story about Lanaiah not understanding the phone call was cute and sad. I can understand that it broke her heart and probably yours and grandpas too. One day soon, she will zoom around everyone with skills in technology. These little people are so amazing with the technology. They seem to take to it naturally.
Our grands are 35, 30 & 29. Seems like yesterday that they were just little people. They in the world have changed very quickly. Isn’t it wonderful how precious they are to us? Rachel, the oldest and Michael will soon try IVF. They have already tried everything else. Rachel works like the energizer bunny on steroids so I can see that her stress level may be keeping her from getting pregnant. She being 35 and Michael 40, they are desperately wanting a baby. It seems like most of us treat our pets like children and they really do. They have adopted three special dogs in the past five years and the first two have had to be put down because of special needs and it was very difficult for them because they loved them so much.
Emily and Travis say they don’t want children. Emily says she would be thrilled to be a nanny for Rachel‘s child and she would be wonderful doing that. She already has experience as a nanny. She is great with children and their parents.
Montana is Steve’s daughter and Steve is our son-in-law. Montana‘s mom died when she was only eight months old. And it has greatly impacted her to say the least. She walks to the beat of her own drum. She is finally in a relationship that seems happy and she has a good job, the whole family is thrilled for her and her boyfriend Ron.
Mom and I went out for brunch with her retirement friends on Thursday. People are passing away. Mom is now the oldest and missing many friends. Only one of her special friends remains. This lady passed out and woke up in an ambulance on the wa to ER. She says it was just her vertigo. It’s just another reminder of how resilient and magical the human body is and at the same time we’re very fragile. 😽🤗
