Funny old day Jane.  I overslept, even after loo breaks at 4 n 7am, as was sooo tired n it was sooo cold, just had to get back into bed.  Was sunny but that icy wind again.  Didn't want to go out but it was the monthly farmer's market/  Not been there in ages n really wanted some pear n ginger jam so wrapped up well.  Got the jam n bought a nice lavender long jumper. Light n warm and reduced from £20 to £10.  Fits lovely.  So pleased Teddie is feeling more comfortable.  Sounds like the cream working well, bless her.  ((BIG HUGS))  Ty Teddie for sloppy licks.  Nice to buy new cushions, rug n pan.  Oops!  Looks like Dave will be busy with the electrics.  Glad you enjoyed Manhunt. They couldn't say too much bout Levi Bellfield cos of legal reasons as seems he may have murdered more.  There was a brill prog called The real manhunt on C5 the next day with live interviews with the arresting officer n more bout the ongoing murders.  I know you like real life stories.  Think you'd enjoy this.  Saw the 2nd Flirty Dancing last night with Ashley Banjo of 1D, love him,  and I found it emotional.   Chilly week-end.  Have a good one Jane.  xx

Evening Jane glad you had a good day out and got lots of nice things for your home. Been cold here too sub zero temps with a wind chill from the sea  making it feel even  colder but its been crisp and dry. Been busy all day with tidying the place, washing and ironing, took in our shopping, ordered more shopping for the next weeks delivery had to do that order early as Malcolm will be away next week to Oslo and he won't be here for us to do the order together. made our tea had a bit of different meal for a change ..big stir fry of cubed tofu in sweet chill marinade , mangetout, red pepper, spring onion and tender stem broccoli with butternut squash boodles its called it looks like noodles shape. Malcolm and I quite like it but Stephen not so keen on the tofu and he's not a veggie person and wondered

where the meat was lol.. so its maybe something for us to have  when he's away I got the recipe from Sainsbury's website.  Malcolm got some clothes on the internet for going away so guess who's washing clothes tonight I'm just going to give them a quick freshen up in the washer and give it an extra spin hope I can get it dry and ironed for Sunday when he does his packing. I think our colds are much better thanks Jane how is your back and hip?  sorry your light went and having a problem with your water heater not switching off there is always something isn't there to Marr our joy. hope your feeling warmer now Jane, keep cosy. night night and God Bless in case I don't come back in. will be going offline soon to watch TV and stare into space for a while haha.. sweet dreams Jane at bedtime. xxx

Looks like you had a better day. Yesterday and today was cold and sunny which made driving a bit tricky. Rain will be edging in tomorrow and over the higher ground round here it will probable fall as snow - the first of the Winter. Shouldn't be a major problem though. I've got line-dancing tomorrow but the canasta group which used to meet on Friday has had to be moved back to Saturday evening. You said that you don't know much about Les Mis but you may remember that Susan Boyle sang a song from the show when she was on GBT. The music is great! xx

Hi Jane. How's Teddie today, bless her.  ((HUGS))   Oh dear, a yellow warning.  Hope they've lifted it n  weather better for you. Did you manage to get your washing done? Slept better ty n had a swim in outdoor pool at 8am.  OMG!  The wind that was blowing was sooo cold n icy,  Was ok in the water but my back was freezing, so only did 10 lengths. Lovely in the posh bits.  A very deep jacuzzi and I went in the plunge pool as well.  Ver invigaring.  BTW, has your Aloe Vera ever bloomed?  I think the flowers are so beautiful.  Tai Chi 2moro.  Have a good Thursday Jane.  xx

Night night Jane hope your back feels better soon, sorry you have an ulcer on your mouth they can be so painful. Hope Teddie gets on well tomorrow at vets and they help her poor doggie. In bed now watching cleaning up the new tv drama . It’s blowing a gale here tonight again suppose to get snow showers but wouldn’t be at all surprised as it is cold enough. Malcolm not too bad but he has a cold just hope he can get rid of it for Monday as he is going to Oslo with work.  Hope you sleep well Jane night night and god bless xxx

It was wet this morning when I took a friend to the shops but cleared up at lunchtime and it's sunny now. We should be in for a week's cold weather although it should stay dry here. It's going to be a shock when we get some snow as it is so late coming this Winter. No groups today so enjoying a lazy afternoon. I need some help with my family history notes so I have arranged for a chap to call on Friday afternoon to sort me out. Hoping to get notes printed at some stage. Our Friday evening canasta group has now clashed with something else so we are going to move to Saturday evenings which won't be a problem at this time  of year. Hope you are ok today. xx
