Okay, how do I collect treasure with Jack? Doesn't the fairy I planted in the gold pot do that?

Also 10 cows have been spotted and the second beanstalk has been planted. How many beanstalks do I need?
I thought this was going to be a little bit more complicated than the other FTs, but this is doing my head in.
