Yesterday was glorious until late afternoon, then the heavens opened! Why didn’t I take the dog for a walk in the morning… I wasn’t expecting that!!
I actually stayed at home all day, managed to prune a huge Phoenix Palm Tree which I grew from a pot plant many years ago but had since grown like a triffid & stabbed us all as we came in the back gate!
Glad you got some gardening done, it looks a bit dindgy out there today xxx

:-) :-) You made me laugh about the unusual Maypoles. Very unusual for sure! I once tried to get them painted but I didn't have the patience to do all the challenges so I reckon they will stay half painted . Thanks for spotting my critters xx

Yes, my primroses did survive and now the garden is full of dandelions. I used to make things out of the flowers (honey and such) but I don't do that anymore.
The sun is out and the weather forecast is good for today and tomorrow but it will be cool and wet in the new week.My daughter and grand daughter went to see Brian Adams the other night in Durban. I haven't been to a concert for ages!!
I looked up the books that you told me about. I'm not sure if they would appeal to me but a short story would be better than the normal 600 to 1000 pages that I normally like reading.
My hubby is glued to the TV because snooker is on and I can't believe he's missing the sunshine but then again I have also just come in for a few minutes to take a peek into my Fairy garden.

Yes! They love to drag the huge box of Duplo out, the wooden train track & very old fisher price garage/cars & tills! I know better now, their mums are constantly moving on with age appropriate toys but they love coming to Nanna & getting all the old ones out! Chaos ensues!

It seems that Toby will be joining Molly for home education after he finishes his current school in July. I can’t help feeling concerned at what Emily’s taking on & working 3 days a week from home at the same time, though she has arranged for them to go to some fabulous sounding classes as well as forest & farm school. I just don’t know.

Hello Sarah, still the same old back and knee pain. They are both bad but the knee pain wakes me at night and is very bad till I think I fall asleep again through exhaustion. Not sure if I told you, I'm having another epidural in June. Very pleased your knee is so much better. Thanks for spotting in my garden, even if it was only a mouse. I thawed my garden, then forgot all about it till it was nearly bed time. I at least did some work outside. We are having a last burst of Summer, it's lovely.  xxx    🌺💐🌺

Don't mean to be a nosy nellie but Jethro Tull!!!! You are so blessed to have experienced that. My husband has seen them twice and he said that both times Ian Anderson danced the entire show on one leg. What a treat to get to see them. So wish I could! Hope you had the time of your life!
