Oh YAY! Not long now.

Hey, I didn't WANT to cut it.  Kicker is being very supportive but it looks like I'm back in the fourth grade and I hate it.  My wonderful hair dresser said she would not take it all off as planned since she could see new little hairs coming in and maybe in another year or two, I'll have hair again.  LOL!  But she asked me, "When was the last time you cut your hair this short?"  And I replied, "Fourth grade."  She tried to comfort me, but dang it all.... I've always had long hair.  But it WILL grow back, it will grow back, it will grow back!

I just made a HUGE lasagna and have friends coming over for dinner tonight.  It's a heavy meat sauce with my home grown tomatoes from last year, a ricotta, basil, parma layer, and a spinach/mushroom in bechemal sauce layer?   It weights 12 pounds or so....   THAT ought to do it, don't ya think?    LOL! 

Your trip is going to be so great.  Can't wait to see a pic of you eating Haggis.   Hahahahahahahahaha!   Yuck Terry Beary!    I smelled it once long ago.  That was enough for me.     ;)

Hey there.  Are you two travelers back home?  Or aren't you in Spain or something?  Sad that we can't play with Deb anymore.  She always made me laugh.  She's with Sheila, Polly, and Gilly.... and Chris and so many others for that matter.   
Heading up to Lompoc tomorrow to get an old Navajo rug fixed by a terrific lady who does amazing work!  Now, where to go for lunch?     ;)

I met a guy recently who grows his tomatoes under shade cloth, and boy does he have something goin' on!  His tomatoes grew in beautiful clusters and he would leave them on the vine longer because the shade cloth helped protect them from burning?   It was amazing and I might have to try it! 
I can't beleive that your marigolds were attacked.  They are supposed to repell everything I thought?   My tomatoes have gotten big enough that my poor marigolds are barely getting any sun....  but they seem OK with it. 
And anything over 100 is too hot for me to garden in!   That is "sip lemonade mixed with ice tea in the shade" kind of weather.
