You're welcome (and I am exactly the same with the Birdbath 😉). You need 150 scrolls to colour in the first section of the Mammal pole and, from the ones you have already completed, you have earned 64 scrolls, so over halfway without even realising, that can't be bad 🫶

There are two Totem Poles, a mammal and a bird one. Each one has four sections which need to be 'coloured' in, the sections are coloured in alternately - first section on the mammal pole, the second section on the bird pole, third mammal, fourth bird and so on. To colour in the sections you have to earn a set number of scrolls. Once earned the relevant section on the relevant pole is coloured in and an Extinct Critter is attracted to the pole when you put it in your garden with the correct food. To earn scrolls you must work your way through eight levels of Quests, each level getting progressively harder and the reward getting progressively higher (there's also a time bonus with each quest).

A Level One earns you 8 scrolls the first time you complete it and 4 scrolls every time you complete it after that (you can repeat Quests as many times as you like, or not at all if you don't like the look of one). The time bonus, earned every time you complete a Level One Quest within its specified time limit, is 4. You choose your Level One Quest, activate your Quest and then try to spot the critters for that Quest within 20 minutes. (It doesn't matter if you don't, you just don't get the time bonus).
You can set up your own garden to attract your chosen Quest critters before you start or after, it's up to you. You can also freeze a Quest at anytime and restart it later but that doesn't stop the timer.
