Invercargill is actually located in New Zealand, not Scotland. Founded in the 1850s, the southernmost city in New Zealand was heavily influenced by Scottish settlers and is named after Captain William Cargill.Because of its deep connections to Scotland, the city features:Scottish-inspired name: "Inver" is a Scottish Gaelic term meaning river mouth, combined with "Cargill" to honor the Scottish leader of the Otago settlement. My mothers family from Inverness Scotland , so knew the "Inver" bit had to be Scottish. Sounds lovely where you are.
I am in the centre of England, Wonderful history, but a bit of a dump now lol
I live on the edge of Coventry, has a wonderful history, but nothing of note these days unfortunately xx

carpet going down atm the moment ~ I live in a small bungalow, so all furniture crammed in the one living room hahaha.
It is a pale silver grey with white and dark flecks in it
thought it would be perfect for my mad Boxer dog running round. The rest of the house has wooden floors, but the bedroom has always been cold, so thought it might be a bit warmer.I reeally don't like being cold !
Eldest son has come to give a hand ~ so glad about that. Youngest son and girlfriend, flew off to a Greek Island for a last minute deal at silly o clock this morning. At least they will be warm. Had a lot of holidays in Greece, my favourite place to be.

Been "helping" son move furniture out of bedroom, new carpet going down tomorrow.
Just the bed in there now !!
So will have to get up early ! As I will be on coffee/tea duty lol

I slept in until 9 am. Stayed up far too late last night. Tired today lol
