Wasn't too concerned about the food side of things, I grew up where we had to have supplies on hand in case we were isolated. Even though I'm now a 'townie', old habits die hard. Many is the time we would have scones instead of bread or what mum would call puffdaloons - something like a fried scone.

Have just realised we're both in South East Qld. How did you fare with Alfred? All good I hope. Only minor stuff here thankfully.

Thank you Dianne.  I didn't realise you were in the same area.  I am at Carindale and all of my 6 kiddies live around here as well.  I went shopping yesterday  I got the last 6pack of toilet rolls in my brand.  Usually get the 9 pack because they are better thickness than the 6. LOL  and no single bottles of water left!!   Ended up buying 2 at the little chinese take away!  So many bare shelves!!!!    UGH.   Take care.
