I’m doing okay. It’s been oppressively hot here for several weeks. Today it is only going to be in the 80s; and it’s cloudy. So a little break from the inferno.

Hi Julie, I am o.k thank you, been following you on your Hols,what a great time you have had and views were lovely, I felt like I was with you, shame about the trouble getting home reminded me of the times we used to travel, spoils the holidays a bit, my eyes are not too bad, had new glasses made, got them yesterday but going back today to optician as they are not good, I go back to eye hospital in September for check up, I think they are leaving one stitch in each eye as it is keeping tubes in place. Hope you get home soon xx

One more day of school here before summer break. Though Finn has some unfinished school work, so if he doesn't do it tomorrow his teacher will make him go in on tuesday. He is off to Quebec for 3 weeks french immersion on the 29th. Then he is back for 10 days before we go to Scotland. It is going to be a busy summer! Liam had some issues with bilirubin in his blood and urine (he's 16 in august) so we are waiting to see a pediatrician.. they didn't want to wait in the ER longer (was 2 days on and off) waiting for him to show up. Ultrasound was clear.. so... I am only used to hearing about bilirubin with newborns. Steve's parents have been having a rough time as well (another heart attack and worsening dementia).. so we are really looking for a bit of a slow down while Finn is away!!

Glad things are going well there. Nice to go see the snow :) It's been snowing up in the mountains here still! Kinda crazy.. and then 45c back east. 27c here the last few days.. so not so bad for end of June :)

Hi Julie! Please send some of the snow and wind to us. It's soooo hot here right now. We are in a heat wave that feels like it will never end. We were under a heat advisory today, so I basically stayed inside most of the day. I ran my errands early before it got too hot.

I just got over a bad respiratory virus (not covid or the flu). It lasted two weeks. That's how my summer started lol.

I haven't been practicing animal acupuncture yet, and I don't know if I ever will... long story. When I get the verdict from the licensing board here in Maryland, I will update you. I've been pretty down about it, to be honest. It just makes me not even want to talk much.

Hi Julie, so lovely to hear from you, I am good thank you, been back to eye hospital and they are pleased with me, not taking stitch out says it can stay in forever, no more drops except to keep them moistured, so that is wonderful. Our weather has been terrible in fact we are putting heating on some evenings, yesterday was lovely so with a bit of luck it might stay, we have a general Election on my birthday my sons girlfriend insists that I celebrate my birthday as I have been through so much so we are going out a few days later, and the following week my daughter is having a party for her 70th, I can’t believe she will be that old, she doesn’t look it at all. Hope your mum is o.k  xx
