2. Runrig were a Scottish Celtic rock band. I think the original band members were from the Isle of Skye. They were a big name in Scotland for over 40 years but have retired now. They had a big farewell concert at Stirling Castle in 2018 and I've always regretted not trying to get tickets for that. It was televised but the atmosphere live would have been fantastic. I hope you get through your vases soon. I found the Tiger & Kangaroo ones difficult and I hope there's not a lot of gold wildlife still waiting in the wings to be released. Hi Linda, thankyou so much for the birthday card. It's been so busy today that I am only now clearing my returns (in bed). I'm not surprised you needed an early night. One early start at 0545 would have me bleary eyed, never mind 2 in a row. I'm sure the girls will love Sleeping Beauty. I never watched Britain's got talent so I've never heard of Sydnie Christmas.....is that even a real name?! I had a nice day yesterday. It was Tuesday so we still went to Colin's mum's & she insisted on taking us out for our tea so it was nice not to have to cook. Lynne & Thomas were there in the afternoon. He's quick at crawling now & has started pulling himself up on the furniture, not on his feet yet but he manages to get himself up on his knees. He's so happy & contented and a really bonny baby, the spitting image of his Dad although his hair has lightened from dark to fair now. Ben is dark, Lynne is fair x

Hello, what's the panto this year? The Macdonald ladies all go to the panto every year but to me it's much more fun with children. I get my enjoyment from seeing the kids take part & have fun. I don't envy you getting up before 0600 - yawn. But I suppose everyone has to take their turn. I have caught up with Strictly now. There are so many good dancers with great potential this year. Craig seems to be a lot more amenable than usual & I always find Anton so funny as well as being a good judge with plenty practical advice. I've never really taken to Shirley. She is obviously very experienced & also gives relevant advice but I sometimes feel there's a bit of favouritism going on with her. Glad you're getting on ok with your vases. I'm glad mine are finished & I hope we get a bit of a reprieve before the next lot of gold wildlife is released. I'm quite enjoying the halloween critters x

Hi Linda, all well here thanks. Hope you are back to normal now & Graham is keeping fine. That's good Amber can go to a school that she likes. Will she be moving up next summer? Your show sounds really good. Were you singing whilst driving home? ;-D We saw Blood Brothers at the theatre last Saturday night which was also good & we are going to see a Runrig tribute band in 2 weeks time - I'm sure Runrig doesn't mean anything to you but they were a big thing in Scotland in their hey day. Will pop back tomorrow for a longer chat. I have to get the tea organised for Colin coming home from work soon x

Glad you're feeling a bit better as well. That's been quite a long time but if you were going to get covid, better to get it & recover fully now rather than just before you go away on your break with Jean....or feel unwell when you were away. The shrimp & the spider crab are hard. I was lucky with the first one I needed as it came on the first plate of spawn but then the next time I had to plant all the deterrents. I hope he doesn't release any more gold BDs. I only had 1 endangered on each of the gold Tiger & Roo vases so I wonder if everyone got that. I'm waiting for my precious stones now to attract magpie for the easy quest & otherwise it will be halloween critters. Off to do my returns now xx

Hello, how are you feeling now? I hope you're over the worst &starting to feel better. Lynnes is feeling better. Bens Mum put covid tests through their door & she tested but was negative. We still didn't go to visit this week though. I was lucky & didn't catch what Colin had last week so didn't want to push my luck. How are the BDs going? I still have my last Gold Tiger to attract & see you still have to spot one. Are you around this afternoon? I haven't returned any sprinkles since yesterday so the garden should be quiet if you wanted to try & spot x

Hi Linda, shame you're still feeling rough. That's been a while now. Colin is fine. He tested negative for covid & I never caught his cold. Lynne is miserable though & convinced she has covid. She has no tests. Colin said we would pop one through her letterbox but she said not to bother, she will just stay at home and not receive any visitors. It must be hard when you're feeling awful & you've got a 6 month old who has just started crawling. Winning all these pots certainly does seem excessive. I felt bad when I got 3 of the same river ones a few months ago. I think limited should be limited..... Not just the total number released but also limited to only one per person, the same as the unlimited ones. My last tiger critter was a Blue Jay so that vase is in storage and I'm using my SF to try & trim a Top Baby Uni. I've already trimmed a top giraffe today. I agreed to help with a new topiary group so felt I'd better do something to help. Hope you feel a bit better tomorrow x
