Hi Linda, nice to see you back. I hope you had a lovely break away & are now feeling more relaxed. I've had a busy week, we had Thomas (and granny) on Tuesday, I was out for lunch with friends on Wednesday &  again on Thursday and coffee and cake this afternoon. Jacquelyn is coming for tea this evening. She's only home for a few days and we are at Elizabeth's for a meal tomorrow evening. I haven't made much progress with my vases. I've now had 2 baths with only 1 chick in each. I contacted support & asked why, when each birdbath with superwater cost 1 SF, some fairies were getting 10 chicks consistently every day whilst others (like me) were only getting 1 or 2. It's not like you stick your birdbath out and it fills automatically. It does cost a superfood each time and as such, everybody should be getting a fair amount of chicks. I counted 8 chicks one after the other in one bath with 10 feeds still to go. Anyway I never got any response but I'm pretty fed up of the whole thing. I have no idea what I need for the vase that has 2 missing chicks as I'm sure I have either spotted or attracted everything except an oriole. Hello, my wren chick I spotted in your garden is now in my vase. Mike says he didn't do anything, it was there when he looked and there was no glitch. I took screenshots on my phone of my spot in your garden (showing the flowers) and screenshots of my vases with no wren chick in any of them so now he says there was probably a delay in the picture showing up in my vase.....well is that not a glitch? I'm fed up with chicks and not being able to spot anything that I need and frustrated at spending a lot of time & gold in gardens and someone coming in at 2.25 on superwater, spotting every second and spotting the chick. I'm hoping as time goes on & the due hard fairies who water in a frenzy finish their gold chicks that it might become easier because it's certainly not enjoyable just now. I had 1 measly chick & 19 adult birds in my last birdbath..I haven't hunted today as we were at Colin's mums early. Her boiler isn't working now so Colin had a plumber there all afternoon but she's going to have to get a new boiler. That one's about 35 years old. Would you believe I never got credited for the wren chick I spotted in your bird bath a little while ago?! Thankfully I was on the phone & had your garden open in a separate tab so I was able to go back and take screenshots of the notification with the flowers for my bouquet, but it's a bit concerning that it happened because how can we be 100% sure that other mistakes are not being made when we spot chicks? I have spotted jackdaw, kingfisher, woodpecker, nightingale chicks and your wren chick was the first flowers I got..... Although I actually I didn't get, but was supposed to get. I have contacted FL support & await their response with interest x

2. Not so good about your eye - I hate that particular test. It's difficult to keep looking at the centre. My eye wants to wander off to the side to see the lights. It's good that they are keeping such a close eye on things though.....no pun intended. That's brilliant that so many people are interested in volunteering with Serv. Will the training be face to face or online? I hope yourself & Graham have a good weekend next week. We were supposed to be going to the Moy game fair tomorrow but it has been cancelled because of high winds (there are a lot of marquees & also clay pigeon shooting) I love watching the dogs going through their paces. Last year we took Jake & he was engrossed. I spent all afternoon cooking bits & pieces for a picnic - pakora, thai prawn bites etc & also a chicken casserole for our evening meal tomorrow & then Colin phoned to say the games were cancelled. At least I won't have any cooking tomorrow but I'm whacked tonight. Lol :-)
