Hello, just tidying up my back wall & re-reading some messages before I delete them. Yes it is rather irritating to discard old pots & now discover you need them for a new challenge. I'm sure for a while Mike was encouraging people to keep as little as possible in their storage as it was affecting the game. I have been lucky so far & not needed to buy any pots for making vases even although I had 4 years out of the game & missed out on a lot of the holiday calendar pots during that time. We have a thaw now, the snow & ice has all gone thank goodness 7 today it is a balmy 12 degrees - almost tropical compared to minus 17 :-D
Did you get the spider crab & shrimp that you needed for the quest? I have eventually managed to complete my new vases. It wasn't difficult to attract but I didn't have time until today to do some hunting. I didn't know you got "gentle iron". I googled it & it has mainly good reviews. Will your GP prescribe it or is it cheaper to buy it over the counter? Colin is off to Aberdeen today for his oesophageal manometry & ph studies tomorrow. He got the train this afternoon, an hour quicker than the bus & probably quicker than driving as well. It's a very busy road, no dual carriageway. Would you believe I haven't watched the Strictly final yet?!? I heard the result which kind of put me off watching it. I haven't watched the Christmas special either, or Dancing on Ice which started last night, so I might catch up with some of that while Colin is away x

Hi Linda, sorry to hear you're anaemic again. They really need to find out why, as well as treating you with iron supplements. I know you had a Gastroscopy in the past which was okay. Have you any other symptoms other than breathlessness? I admire you for attempting the hard quest. I did wonder if that was your plan when I saw the corals. The pot is lovely but I'm afraid the thought of doing candies again just gives me the heebie jeebies. I hated them with a vengeance. I'd rather do 10 gold unicorn vases. Lol :-). 2. We've had some snow but it's been bitterly cold with temperatures as low as minus 10 so everything is frozen. Very picturesque, like a Christmas card, but quite treacherous under foot. Aqua aerobics & dancing were both cancelled this week. I had an appointment for a mani & a massage yesterday at 1130, walked up to get the bus at 1043 but it never arrived, came home & Colin ran me up just in time for my treatments & then I got a bus home. Today I went in to Dingwall with Colin when he went to work as I needed buttons for a cardigan I have knitted for Thomas and also wanted a new pattern for a jumper for him. I got the bus home again. If I had taken the car I would have to go out in the dark & the cold at 2200 to pick Colin up. But yesterday & today I was like a block of ice when I got home. I am now sitting in front of the log burner, reluctant to take the dogs out but I will have to wrap up & brave the cold. It's so bad I could even feel the hairs in my nostrils as if they were starting to freeze. Lol :-D

Hello, how's things with you? Did you see the new gold critters? I can't say I'm that enamoured having to hunt & attract so many unicorns but I do want to complete the gold challenge even although we haven't been told what the reward will be yet. I have made the 3 vases but the gardens are all so busy at the moment that I'm not going hunting & who knows, I might be lucky & spot something when clearing my returns. What are you doing now that you've finished the gold BDs? Are you doing an advanced quest? I have done the easy & the intermediate quests for January once & that is all I am doing. I prefer the regular unlimited pots to the limited ones. I do like the starry pot for the extreme quest but am not doing candies, BDs or the Loch Ness Monster for it. Lol :-)
