3. He was here with the girls all day on Saturday which was nice for me.  He was helping Colin take down a tree for Elizabeth. It was bordering Alisons gardens and Alison wanted it down before it fell on her garage.  She's in France for 3 weeks so Colin felt it was the ideal opportunity to get it down..... just as well she wasn't there because Alan, after saying he would climb up,  lop the top off the tree & then take the rest down decided to fell it in one go (despite Colins protestations) and it took 16 tiles off Alisons garage roof. So Colin spent yesterday replacing these tiles and today repairing the fence that also got damaged.  It's cost us about £200 so far. But i had a lovely day with the girls. I hadn't had them to myself for ages.  We played Dobble & other games plus hide & seek in the garden. I suffered on Sunday after all my running around, crouching down behind bushes and squeezing into dense roddies but it was good fun. I was busy weeding in the borders yesterday and today plus I had aqua aerobics earlier this evening so I'm going for a good night's sleep now xx

How frustrating for Emma & family.  At the end of your holiday you really just want to get home,  not be hanging around airports.  In fact I'd like to close my eyes,  snap my fingers, open my eyes and discover i was back in my own house. Lol. I hope they don't have to wait too long for another flight.  They might get some compensation. When we had a 24 hour delay flying from Miami to Heathrow we got £1200 back from British Airways. Your theatre show sounds good.  I like Queen & probably appreciate their music more now than I did all these years ago.  Colin has been saying to me for a few years that he doesn't think Alan & Laura's marriage will last.  Alan is very nice,  very easy to get along with,  friendly,  helpful etc but he is very stubborn,  he likes to be in control of everything,  it's his way or no way, he's never wrong & he always has to have the last word.  He's also a bit OCD about tidyness. The girls weren't allowed any toys downstairs in the living room and he'll come here & move a picture or an ornament a couple of mm as he thinks it's a bit squint. It doesn't bother me,  in fact we have a laugh about it but I don't think he would be easy to live with x

Oh no Linda, what a shame about your quest. I have paused and restarted quests regularly, jumping from the easy to the intermediate & vice versa and have never had a problem but it is the "activate" button I use. I think it's a bit harsh to say they can't reset you back to where you were.. when I discarded my cuckoo chick vase directly from the GH (I didn't even know that was an option,  and in my opinion it shouldn't be an option) they said they couldn't replace it as the vase was only completed after attracting & spotting all the chick's. I kind of understood what they meant but as you say,  for a technical whizzkid who has invented & produced everything in this game,  is it really impossible or does he just not want to take the time to do it?! I'm not spending much time here either as I'm actually a bit bored of it.  These pottery artists started 3 years ago,  the gold challenge started 2 years ago & is still not finished and we still haven't been told what the reward will be for finishing it. When are we going to get something new instead of the same old.....pots, leprechaun, easter bunnies etc. I'm not doing any quests this month.. I'm not fussed for any of the pots so I'm jus

3. I'm not finding a lot of time (or enthusiasm to be honest) for Fairyland just now. I'm not even doing any pottery quests for April. I'm not that fussy for the pots & I really can't be bothered. Alan & Laura have split up, he has moved in with his mother meantime & Laura is going to buy him out of the house. She will be a very wealthy young woman one day. She has already come into one inheritance from an Uncle & is waiting for the Solicitors to sort out another inheritance from an Aunt. Her parents are in their mid 80s & that will be another big inheritance one day. We were visiting yesterday with the girls Easter presents & nothing felt any different but she didn't talk about the split at all. Both girls were there so we didn't ask anything but Alan said it was her decision, not what he wanted. He is here with the girls on Saturday as he is coming to help Colin take down a big birch tree which is leaning towards Alison's house for Elizabeth. We will get the wood for the log burner. I have a night out in the Legion on Saturday night with some of the line dancing girls - a country night with some line dancing. I can't think of any other news so will go & get the dogs out now. 2. I haven't seen the Book of Mormon or heard of it coming up here. Glad to hear Joan is improving. That must make a big difference to her mobility. What a shame about Emmas cat - it's quite a responsibility when you're looking after someone else's cat who is poorly. I can't believe Charlie will be finished his first year next month! Mind you I feel the Uni courses should be continual with regular breaks for holidays but not 4 months break in the summer. Students could finish in 3 years instead of 4 if they had less holidays. If I had the amount of holidays uni students get it would have taken me 5 years to finish my nursing course :-D  I'm sure Charlie is looking forward to his trip to Canada. Is he just visiting or working there? One of Colin's nieces was there for almost 2 years. She worked while travelling but is now doing nursing in Glasgow. Maureen is not getting on well after her knee replacement. She is very sore & says it's getting worse rather than better. It's now 3 weeks & 3 days since her op & she wishes she hadn't had it done. She got more opiates (Oxycodone) from her GP but, although I know it's a brutal surgery I really don't feel she should still be needing analges

Hi Linda, I had a lovely break away thanks. Busy but nice. We had a spa day on Friday at Centre Parcs Woburn which was very nice - an Elemis facial & a back massage plus 25 different experience rooms to relax in. We got a lovely sunny day in London itself on Saturday....did the London Eye, hop on hop off bus tour which did Buckingham Palace, St Pauls Cathedral, Trafalgar Square (we didn't have enough time to get off at every stop for photos as Jacquelyn had our day planned out), a river cruise, an hour in Covent Garden, afternoon tea & then the theatre. I enjoyed the show. They had very powerful voices which were clear above the music. Sometimes in Eden Court Theatre here I feel the music is too loud for the singer & you can't make out the words. We are spoiled for seating here though as the seats are all staggered as well as being on a slope so you get a good view of the stage wherever you sit & regardless of who is in front of you. We were in the Dominion Theatre - a lovely old fashioned place - and our seats were fine but I had to keep moving my head from side to side as the Japanese girl in front of me kept moving (probably because the person in front of her was doing the same)
