That might be a week away though,  the rate I am going 🤣  I managed to spot a Ping Pong earlier which have me flowers so am now down to Froog & Long Eared Owl for the last remaining space.  Im  sits i haven't made a mistake.  I printed off your list which is with the laptop although I still have the critters listed on my back wall which is handy if I'm on the phone and have a quick 10 minutes to hunt.  I was delighted I managed to get a sunflower at 100" yesterday..... with just a minute to spare.  I might do another one later.  I like to get the hardest,  tallest ones out of the way first and leave the shorter easier ones till later 😆

Hello,  poor Joan but I honestly think,  once you reach a certain age your driving licence should be revoked......or you have to sit a test every year to ensure you are still fit to drive.  I also think young drivers and those who have just passed their test (of any age) should be limited to the power of car they are allowed to drive for the first few years.  There's a lovely black Lexus in a field here,  a 17 year old just passed his test,  driving a car too powerful and too fast & he is now in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary so must be very seriously injured to have been transferred there. Shame you can't get away for a break but at least when you have nice weather it's not so bad.  I'm watching Wimbledon and the semi final between Fery, the British wild card entry and the number 2 seed. But yes,  I'd love to spot your gold skunk. Im free every afternoon today,  tomorrow, & Monday,  plus Saturday from 3pm and Sunday from 1100 if any of these times suits you.  I spotted a gold Llama the other day, just a fluke, I happened to return sprinkles to a garden and noticed she was waiting for one so I hung around,  it was very quiet,  and managed to spot it. I noticed you haven't spotted a gold Llama or Hippo yet so I had wondered, if you still hadn't spotted them by the time my vases are ready if you wanted me to go private so you could get them. I don't see a lot advertised now x

Hello, are you still busy invigilating at school? Our schools are on holiday now for 6 weeks so we don't have Thomas but Lynne said yesterday she put him to the child minder on Tuesday as she has to pay for her anyway.... he usually goes Thursday & Friday...... but we would happily have taken him.  It's Ben's 40th birthday this coming Tuesday so we are over there for a BBQ with his Mum & Dad, Lynnes Mum and Alan. We'll maybe see how well,  or otherwise,  things are going between Alan & his Mum now he's back living with her.  It's been lovely here,  too hot for me most days but it's cloudy this morning although still warm.  Do you know what you need for your vases? I'm down to Long Eared Owl, Ping-Pong or Froog (I need 2 spaces filled so hope i haven't boobed somewhere along the line) and I need a Snabbit for the vase in storage & a chickadee for the 2nd tiger vase I started ages ago. I'm happy with summer mice for a few days though xx

3. It was hot in London too although Sunday was definitely cooler. Today it is dry, sunny, breezy & 18 degrees - much more my type of day. Lol. I have all the washing done & now getting through the ironing. When I was in Croatia Colin made a start on renovating the room between house & garage. He had turned it into an office when we moved in but it is now going to become a utility room as it's next to the kitchen. He has stripped it out including the big floor to ceiling window at the back. He is going to extend it a bit so we now have a room with no wall at the back but it is ready for shuttering & then concreting. It will be a slow process as Colin can only do it on his days off but at least it's a start. He is replacing the garage roof at the same time. It's a double garage so it's quite a big job. I spotted a Hare for my Skunk vase whilst clearing my returns just now so that will be that bouquet finished. I still have 2 more to do for the Raccoon vase & then I think I will just take it easy/slowly with the harder Llama & Hippo vases because I will have earned the reward & will be happy doing summer mice etc for a while anyway. How are you getting on? xx

2. Garth Brooks was excellent. I enjoyed the concert much better than I expected to although I could have done with a seat. It's tiring standing in the one place for that length of time. We stayed in the Reem Hotel in Bayswater which was very nice & very reasonably priced. It was only 5-10 minutes walk to Hyde Park but then we had another 20 minutes walking through the park to reach the concert area. I managed to get Colin on the open top bus on Sunday. I had done it with Jacquelyn in March (the red line) but we picked it up in Paddington this time (the blue line) which still went past Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square etc etc but was a different route. We passed through Knightsbridge, Kensington & Notting Hill which was nice to see. I thought we could maybe have a stroll through Little Venice, see the houseboats etc but we weren't sure if we would have enough time so didn't do that. Maybe one day I will get back again! :-)

Hi Linda, we had a lovely time in Dubrovnik. It is very pretty - very clean, very green with lots of flowering trees & shrubs, no crime, no immigrants, too expensive for them with no Government handouts like free housing, meals & spending money etc. It was very hot, 32/33 but with no breeze at all it felt more like 40. We did a guided food tour in the old city which was fab. We went to different restaurants & tasted traditional Croatian food which we would never have tried ourselves. We had a Tuk Tuk tour up the mountains with spectacular views over the old city. Also a boat trip to 3 islands which was nice because it was windy so a relief from the hot sun. Lol. We walked the city walls which took us about 2.20 but I reckon had we been there when it was cooler it would have been much quicker. We had to keep stopping & resting in the shade and that was first thing in the morning at 0830. Our hotel was lovely & the food was good. I would go back again but in May or October x

3. I have Thomas today.  Colin won a raffle prize for 3 days fishing on the river..... further up from the club waters, normally an expensive beat. He was working yesterday so gave someone else the day & also this afternoon  He is fishing himself this morning & all day tomorrow.  So I'm back & forth here as I get a spare minute. I have a "foldie" bag which is great.  It is smallish but fits my. Kindle, phone,  tissues, money etc.  It can be worn as a bum bag or as an across body bag which i prefer.  You can't cut the straps as they have metal running through them.  The zips lock into place when closed and it has these protective slots for cards so nobody can clone them....perfect for holidays and also for London. How are you getting on with the vases? I agree about the regular food, so difficult to spot anything in these gardens.  You stalk a plate at 5 hours and still get a mouse. Sometimes i go to the wildlife guide and every garden advertised has regular food. I even have regulars who have SF & organic out when questing but go back to regular food when they're finished and these are fairies who never used regular food before it became free. Rant over :-)

2. I know exactly what happened in Alan's marriage.  He was living the life of a single man,  going out to football,  curling etc whenever it suited him and leaving Laura, who was working more hours than him to deal with all the housework, shopping, gardening (except for grass & hedge cutting) as well as runnjng the girls here there & everywhere. She had to give up things like her kettlebell classes because it cooincided with his football & he wouldn't compromise so he only has himself to blame. Although I'm very fond of him I wouldn't like to live with him and I'm pretty sure his mother must be dreading having him back in her house again.  Lynne says he barely speaks to her & she feels like she's walking on eggshells all the time. She's had a few weeks break as he was here for a week then he did house & dog sitting for someone else. I just hope she doesn't throw him out! 🤣😂
