Be still and know He is God. When we really get still, we begin to know that we are not God and we are not supposed to be. Let go of your need to be in control of everything all the time and lean on Him.
You may be running on empty or running your race well, but either way, you can be still in Him. As you rest in Him, your soul will be stilled, even if your life is crazy!
Lord, thank You that we can lean hard on You, lay our burdens before You, and trust You with all we’ve got. Amen.

Hope for the Brokenhearted
Amid our losses and pain, Jesus wants to give us eternal treasures that the world can't give or take away...His peace, His comfort, His joy, His hope...His very presence. He promises to comfort those who mourn. He collects our tears. He is near to the brokenhearted and those who are crushed in spirit. He is with us, pouring Himself into us. Life is not always good...but God is. Keep holding on, friends. Keep your eyes fixed on Him and not the stormy seas and pain that surrounds you. Keep doing what you know to do, even if you don't see or feel signs of it working. Fill your heart and mind with His Word and promises, with praise music, with testimonies of people who have gone through hard times and overcome. Feed your mind encouragement. You will start having fewer bad days and more good days. You will begin to see His light again. I am praying for you and believing you will see His goodness and find His comfort and healing.
