Glad you had a good day. The forecast rain didn’t arrive here until late afternoon so spent the day mowing parts of the course closed for the last few weeks because of the rain. Still very muddy in places but I only got stuck and had to get towed out once 😂.

I remember the uk eclipse as well. I think the total part was over Cornwall but we saw a partial outside the office at work. Little chance of seeing the sun here today.

Hi Fiona, I've had the grandies over the last weekend and took them back today - that was a take them back to school, pack lunches, have swimming gear in their bags as they had swimming lessons organised by their school and then shop till I dropped and got home and oh dear I'm having a little sip of Rose now lol -= fun for everyone⭐️⭐️

I had a dry day until about 20 minutes before knocking off time but when it started to spot with rain I legged it back to the shed. No point getting wet for the last few minutes!  It’s been raining ever since and tomorrow looks crap as well.

Not a bad day here today as it stayed dry. Took the dogs out for a walk and Wendy was in charge of the pushchair with our granddaughter.

I cooked roast beef for dinner and we have enough leftover for a repeat tomorrow. I’ve also been given the day off as we’re due heavy rain overnight. Result!!!

It was a lovely sunny morning here too so we managed to get half a round of golf in and I had quite a good round, considering the conditions.

Apart from Pilates this morning and taking the dog out for a walk I’ve just watched TV as well. A fair bit of sunshine but torrential hail storms as well. The ground is saturated again and haven’t been able to do anything outside.

Supposed to be playing golf tomorrow but I know part of the course is already closed as it’s waterlogged. Will probably go up there anyway just to meet up with my mates and have a cup of tea.

Ha ha. Yes it is a bargain course on Artificial Intelligence and today was about drawing/painting applications. Unbelievable that you just type in what you want to see and it paints a picture of ridiculously good quality in any style you want.

Keep the Champers on ice. You never know your luck.

Your plants sound good but it’s a shame you lost some in the garden. I expect they drowned!  My plug plants are doing remarkably well in the greenhouse even though there isn’t much sun about.

It’s tipping it down here again. No chance of doing anything outside on the course tomorrow as it’ll be swamped again. I’m supposed to be in on Monday cutting the greens. If it keeps raining like this at least I can get out of that one 😂😂.

We have very warm weather this weekend ~ in the high 20’s ~ yeah so looking forward to it returning and hopefully a long hot summer with no fires 🔥 again xx

Glad you got into the greenhouse today. Seems you caught the rain after us. It started here just after lunch and hasn’t stopped since. I was cutting grass until then as the course was starting to dry out.

Perhaps your neighbours are asking too much and when their prospective purchasers saw the place, they did a runner. Keep an eye out and you may be able to vet anyone else who turns up.
