All fine and well here :) hope you are too? It's all systems go for the big celebration here tonight. The renovations finished Thursday morning (my poor sister was a wreck) and her place looks lovely! Her son and his new bride are here from Hong Kong. The weather looks lovely for today, and hopefully the wind doesn't pick up. It's a garden party! Huge crowd expected and the neighbours have been warned, lol. Have a great day.. xx

Hi Rudy, I got a call this morning, they were able to move my surgery, to finish my root canal, tomorrow morning. This time the doctor will go through my gum, to do the root canal.

She is doing better.  She is still asleep. She is beginning to eat more solid food.  Thank you for your thoughts.

I've googled Canada and Welsh Dresser/China Cabinets, etc ;) I do enjoy doing the silliest little things, lol.... Well, if my sisters piece of furniture was a China Cabinet I would have made space for it. How gorgeous, and I agree, charming :) I think what we have is what you would know as a Kitchen Dresser. Made from Pine, has a shelf with drawers and cupboards underneath that, and a little display space on top with cupboard doors with glass. Very cute, but not an antique. My sister is actually now offering to sell it for her friend who got rid of it in the first place. xx

I am fine, Rudy.  I just got fed up with FL.  I may come back for the limited seasonal challenges but it doesn't look like Mike is going to do that again for a while.  I am finding plenty to do now.

She is sleeping now but in pain.  Was 74 F. here yesterday.  Back to cold weather this weekend.

Yes, the builders did the floor :) me and heavy machinery would be a definite No-No! I dislocated a baby toe once, just walking into my sons bass amp. Well, I turned actually, but my foot hit the amp and my little toe didn't turn with me! I've since dislocated it again on a couch. Broken a few toes too!
My sister was given that Welsh Dresser, so she won't sell it, she will pay it forward, which is lovely and something I do when I can. I sold mine though, because I had bought it (sold it to a place that refurbishes and resells, and oh my word they made it look so beautiful and sold it for 3x more, but I was happy with my decision)..... xo

Hi... So, my sister is renovating. I think the house is about 50 years old, and had a little wall that ran halfway across the lounge, to slightly separate the lounge area from the diningroom area, even though it's one big room. Also, had those old cement tiles. Well, my sister likes things modern, so that wall and a section of the kitchen wall has come down, and the old tiles were lifted. Oh my word, the amount of noise and DUST! It's everywhere, across the lawn and into my flat on the property. Day 5 of this and I still hear noise as I sit here. Grinding of some sort. Anyhow, I'm sure she will love the finished result :) although she's not quite sure if she can fit all her furniture back in with so many walls taken away! My place is too small for me to take anything, sadly, as I know a very pretty cabinet is going to be one of the items she's tossing. Such is life ;) have a super day! Take care.. xx
