Morning Linda, glad I got my jobs done yesterday, just got all the last minute things today, got everything ready to pack in spare bedroom, keep changing my mind about clothes, i think it will be quite cold whilst we are away so I keep swapping t shirts for jumpers, lol, it's just started raining here, to be a bad day all told I think, I had to put the heating on last night I was frozen  xx

Got my outside jobs done, the washing is just hanging there don't think I'll get it dry outside, bit of a pain as it makes more work if it doesn't dry and I hate it hanging around. just having a coffee before I start on the  vacuuming, need to get al done as I think family are coming this afto and my bro always rings for an hour on Sundays. I had a bad crossing many years ago over the channel, we had to stay out at see couldn't get into Calais and I was just sat on the floor being sick along with the rest of the passengers, said I'd never go on  ferry again but been a few times and it was  fine xx

Morning Linda, pleased the injections have worked.  The rain has been a right pain, difficult to decide when to go out or put the washer on, it's been so heavy at times. well it's all go here, going on hols on Tuesday so getting ready, got two lots of washing on the go one done the other in, rain is forecast from 2pm so hope I get it dried. I want to get my pots moved as it's going to be very windy they need dead heading as well so a bit to do outside this morning, want to clean through as well so it leaves tomorrow for packing , showers etc. wont have time on Tue. we are going to the Isle of Man from Heysham, Dave is driving us up there, praying these winds calm down as we have a 3hour 45mins ferry crossing on Wed. and they have already cancelled tomorrows ferries, I've got some seasickness tablets  lol I'm so not looking forward to it. xx   

p.s. it just started raining ad it's heavy, and very windy so looks like we will get the thunder and lightening. hope your injections work xx

Change of plan the window cleaner came and he had time to do the  inside as well so I had to move all my ornaments etc. from the sills then put them all back some needed a dust or a wash!! so by then I needed a coffee and check on my garden I needed to spot 1 more cuckoo to get an egg so I just managed that whilst having my coffee but it's left me with 1 free sprinkle lol so I'll be dipping into reserves if I want to try and move on to next wildlife. I looked at the forecast and the rain is to start at noon so I'll have to go shopping tomorrow now, don't like doing it on a Friday but needs must etc. I may not go to the big supermarket as I don't need a lot as I'm off on hols next week so may just go to the local co-op, see what I feel like tomorrow xx

Morning Linda, that's nice meeting your sister and cousin for coffee etc. Yes Tuesday was lovely here, I played boule, yesterday was nice till 2pm, I was cleaning my decking when the rain came didn't quite get finished. We now have the leaves as well as the acorns coming down, worst year ever for mess. It pretty much rained for the rest of the day, very heavy late on. I'll be going shopping this morning, hoping to get back before the storm which Is forecast from 1pm onwards, same thing happened last week and I had to sit in the car for half an hour watching the lightening, rain/sleet and hail coming down.  So I need to get off earlier and not go looking for books in the charity shops which can add an hour or more onto my time out. Xx

I'm sure you will it came very warm here had to take my jumper off, but is saying it will rain in the next hour or so  so will spoil itself, mine was all dry before lunch, ironed, aired and put away  xx

That's encouraging, and at least they are lucking into things for you, my neighbour has just been through similar and going for the camera inspection next week. I'm just going to do some dead heading and pruning outside, it's quite pleasant, but I have put a jumper on as there is a breeze which is a bit nippy  xx

Yes they were so lucky with the weather after the storms in the week. I went shopping on Thursday and about 500mtres from home big spots of rain came down on my windscreen and by time I turned onto my drive it was a full blown storm, lightning, thunder and can you believe sleet, it was coming down so fast I had to stay in the car for half an hour, it eased off slightly but even then I got soaked dashing to my door, but I needed the loo so had to go for it, it was another hour before I could retrieve my shopping from the car, lol, couldn't believe the sleet, there were pictures of it on BBC news that evening where it had settled on gardens in the next village to where I live about 3 miles away, really weired. xx

Morning Linda, I think Open Reach, BT, are doing things on lines getting ready for us all going digital. But it would be nice to know when we are going to be cut off, 3 days we were off but so we couldn't get compensation they switched us on for a couple of hours here and there.

Good time if year to cut bushes back, my budliea will need doing soon but still lots of flower on them for the butterflies and bees.

i've just got hone after staying at Daves last night, one of his neighbours had a 70th b'day party in the garden, with a band and a singer, it was a lovely evening but a late one, I can see a sleep in the chair coming on this afto. xx
