Morning Linda, the lamb tagine was absolutely delicious, fruity and spicy, I'm defo going to have a go at making it, I haven't got an authentic pot to cook it in like Dave has but I'm sure I can do it in the slow cooker. Another nice day, going to play boule this morning  xx

And me Linda, thats what makes me so cross with him, he lives in a different world to everyone else, He wonders why the girls don't want any lunch and just have a coffee or a soup, he forgets they have to go home and cook for their families, he cant walk very far they have to park more or less in the door and he struggles in with his wheeler, I do understand his situation but I just wish he understood everyone elses, I'm sure their husbands cant be too happy about the amount of time they spend with him, they do all his cleaning, washing and shopping, and he could afford to have someone in to do it  but wont have strangers in the house, and they wont take any money for doing it. But it will happen eventually and he'll have to have outside help or go in a home, was out shopping nearly 4 hours, did a couple of charity shops looking for books and a couple that sell plants I just needed half a dozen bedding plants to finish some pots off, looks like we are going to get rain anytime soon gone awfully dark  xx

Morning Linda, with you about the ironing, I only do what I have to and hang it on the line in such a way the creases fall out on their own., thats good for your sister weatherwise, understand there are storms on the way for some of us over next couple of days. My bro is much the same, cantankerous and difficult, his two girls are so good looking after him, I get cross with him at times about it, he shouldn't expect the girls to be at his beck and call 24/7, they have Sunday off to look after and spend time with their families and all he does is moan on the phone to me, he hasn't seen a sole all day!!! I say he's very lucky some folks don't see anyone from one week to the next. They take him out for dinner to a pub 3 times a week get him fish and chips on a 4th and take him to the community hub for a meal on 2 more, and he moans about 1 day a week not going out, makes me so cross. I'm going food shopping soon try and get it done before it gets too hot xx

gone very muggy here, not gone quite to plan, my neighbour kept me talking outside for quite a while which was OK and the drum on my hand held Dyson wouldn't open so spent almost an hour getting it open and washing the filter and giving it a good clean, unfortunately problem not solved I put it all back together and it wont open again so back to the drawing board on that one.so still got the ironing to do and the floors to wash and a couple of jobs outside but they can all wait till later and they wont take long, just had some lunch and going to read for a while now x

Same here Linda, having a washing day second load in, hopefully all dried and ironed by late lunch time xx

I'm not surprised, I've had my socks on in bed, last night was very cold when I went to bed, I'm resisting putting the heating on this morning, I can see my neighbours have theirs on. Xx
