well most days I dont know what friggin planet I'm on let alone garden 😂🤣😆

Grandma lived in Innisfail FNQ, so it was a huge trip there and back which my parents would pull us out of school for 4 weeks and drive there and back to visit.  The smell of sugar cane fields, crack of lighting (and sight), the bats and spiders still are in my mind.  10 days driving and camping along the way which is why I hate camping by the way was no fun. They did stop at canneries and places like that to do tours which was boring as all hell for kids. Watched the Big Pineapple in QLD grow from its beginnings.  Leaving early cause of the monsoons and flooding was happening. .  Ah the memories of it all.  The hardest part was the motion sickness and not having a window down.  The broken windscreens and the kooks laughing as Dad cut his hand getting the screen out and then finding a place to get a new one, the list goes on.   But they are memories that my kids never got to experience.

Dad used to try and make it fun for us going down there via the steps as bats would be flying and he would get us to clap our hands to scare them.  Also had to watch out for the frog poo on the railing.  I think sleeping with the spiders didn't help either.  Yes I am a scaredy cat. lol. 

I have a love hate thing with lightening. Specially when they start fires.  My sis adored them as a kid and she would open the curtains up and watch while I hid under the blankets.. Trips to Qld to visit Grandma didn't help either as we slept in the basement and to get down there we had to go outside while the nightly lightening show happened.. 

Really big fires in Vic JUlz getting bigger by the moment its so big its created its own storm.
simons daughter son in law and grandies are on alert with car packed in case they need to go. One fire is close to his son in laws parents place

all my friends are accounted for.. one doesn't know yet if her home survived.. Hope your day was good

I just couldnt be bothered washing today I'm too tired. some days I simply do nowt and hide inside.
bit windy out now that keeps blowing damn peppy leaves in my bird baths.

defo not warm enough for washing

I'm loving the cooler stuff outside LOL
even had rain early lastnight...but not enough to do any good.
very cool today might even put a jumper on for a while LOL who'da thunk it?? LOL 😂😂
