So if someone watered 2 seconds ago, the % will be showing you the chance that something came in the last 2 seconds against a fraction of the remaining time before something must come. It will always overestimate it as it assumes it will come at the last possible moment.

Hi Esther,

The FAQ explains it a bit, but the reason is likely that someone had just watered the garden as you refreshed the page and it showed up shortly after.

The percentage is the chance that you will spot something at that exact moment if you water. So if you refresh and it's at 0%, and if it's in it's window (it has a chance of coming at that moment indicated by the window fraction below the %), then it will be ticking up the moment you refresh the page even though it's showing 0% the moment you refresh it. It's probably showing 0% as someone had watered just as you refreshed and so at that exact moment there couldn't be anything there.

In other words, if you're in a watering battle with others (such as if there is an alert) then don't pay attention to the %. The % is more valuable to show gardens that haven't recently been watered. Hope that makes sense.

Now if it was 0% and someone hadn't just watered, and you spot something despite that, definitely let me know.
