Ive been dusting and cleaning for my cousin to stay over a couple of days - his brothers funeral next Monday - I will go too. then a week later Jazz n Peter will be here for Christmas so to wash the linen and remake the bed - a task I dont relish 😢😢😢
Today I mixed my last batch for Christmas cake and divided into 3 tins, one for Granddaughter, Kodi - one for the little lady I clean for and a spare lest I get hungry. I sure wish I could give you one 💖 I use dried mixed fruits and lots of brandy - I sometimes put dated in or nuts but just the fruit this year. I love to put glacé cherries but Jazz hates them - 🤣
This evening tis sprinkling nicely after a huge thunder and lightning show. Some of the thunder claps could have created a split in the ground they were so loud and sudden. Im praying it pours and floods across my semi arid ground. Hoping for some tinges of green at least 🙏🙏 More sprinkles due for 2 more days, thus far. I had dry grass on the ground so at least the sheep can eat it, though the odd piece of lucerne hay goes to them and the really old girl is bucket fed with a mix of rolled oats, cracked barley. steamed barley with molasses and lucerne chaff; this twice a day as shes lacking in teeth, feeding a lamb and had worms that could have killed her had I now recently had them all drenched for parasites when shorn.
Got to laugh at your comment on "putting the man to work" OMG - he cleaned up the veggie patch, about two metres square, and planted the 4 tomato bushes he bought home. I keep on his back to water them as I said I have enough garden that I cant take care of.
Im so sorry for your fall. It would have helped to get the services to lift you up. Ive got to giggle a little at the sight you painted - such a picture. Sorry - you must be in such pain 😢 I would have been cussing like a fish wife - oh thats right, I do that every day to himself. Arse hat that he is. he thinks hes got it hard while in the background his stashing his cash while buying the few groceries I make him get. IDC he can buy the Christmas food too, and the beer for Peter. Far out. I must make a comprehensive list for Christmas goodies. 😁😁 It wont hurt him. Ive did it every other year and the he scarpered to his uppity daughters place. I wonder if he goes there this time - I would welcome it. Im glad you will speak to your son and granddaughter. What of the niece?? that you were supporting?
Its always sad for planes to crash - they never end well. Yes a commotion afoot past your house all the day. Stay warm from the blizzard. And it wont hurt your man to stay around to support you while in a terrible state of pain.
So now Ive written a book here - but I love to read and hear about your days. I hope your sore spots fade quickly 💖🙏💖
