It was hard moving off of the lake, I grew up  up the Shore, Wonderland Resort, it is closed and a private home now. Some regular customers started a public facebook page, other customers and locals have found the page. It brought my parents joy to see their postings. Almost 35 years they ran the the 27 cabins, gas station once, then the store. Being close enough to the lake is nice.
  Awesome your daughter is Cancer free, prayers it continues with meds and her medical team, our earthly Angels.
Roads closed here to the Canadian boarder to Thunder Bay up the shore, only emergency routes open. I haven’t seen how the roads up through the iron range yet. Although my Daughters Dog had surgery yesterday in Ely (vets are k way less out of the city) not sure if my Sin in law is really going to try to drive up there to pick up Frankie. Hoping those roads are closed too for his safety.
